My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Originally from Michigan, I feel a strong connection to the Pacific Northwest that grows as my time here continues. However, my connection to my home state (Michigan) is also important to me. I love sports and I'm all in for my Detroit teams, Tigers and Lions in particular.

Cogs in routine: coffee, Netflix, sports fandom stuff playing guitar, meditation.

I'm friendly, engaging and talkative. I'm always working to become a better listener. I'm sensitive to both elitism and anti-elitism, though I suppose like most people I can occasionally fall into those trappings. I also think that I can be hilarious at times. That said, a I'm true to introvert and need a certain degree of alone time to recharge my battery and really be present for others.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to live the life that I value. Trying to find the right work/life balance. Right now I work as a social worker in community mental health.

I don't identify as a religious person and didn't grow up with any strong my spiritual identification, but my spiritual pursuits an increasingly important part of my life. I've been studying Shambhala Buddhism for the last few months. At this point whether I formally identify as a Buddhist isn't particularly important to me, but I'm very interested in the teachings. I typically meditate independently for 20 minutes every day also attend group meditation with accompanying dharma talks at least once per week.

At this point in my life finding a potential life partner is an important priority for me. Most importantly, I'm looking to meet someone that I share similar values with that can challenge and inspire me and that I can provide the same for.

The people I'm most attracted to are those who know they are and place high emphasis in living there values in their personal and professional lives. I'm looking for someone who can be adventurous and outgoing in this wonderful city we live in, but also accepts that life can't be fireworks and entertainment all the time.

I have sense that in our culture increasingly the most desired traits in a partner are being outgoing and also being confident in certain social situations. Confidence is important, but I'd like to think I put at least equal value on character traits as well as social traits. For me, confidence is a life's work and not unconditional. It comes from learning to trust in your basic worth, as well as your awareness and perception of reality.

Books: I typically read fiction, but I'm always open to a good work of non-ficition. Currently reading "The Road Home" by Ethan Nichtern for the second time in the last few months.

My favorite fiction authors include: Margaret Atwood, Ken Kesey, Huraki Marakami, Kurt Vonnegut, and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

Movies: I love cinema! I see a decent amount of movies, but I have a difficult time picking favorites. Recent favorites include: Cavalry, Citizen Four, Birdman. I really enjoy must documentaries.

TV Shows: Like pretty much everyone. I'm a Netflix junkie. . Too many favorites to name, but some more recent watches include House of Cards, Dexter, Girls, Orange is the New Black... You get the idea :).

Music: Okkervil River, Sigur Ros, Townes Van Zandt, Bjork, The Beatles, Tallest Man on Earth.

Food: Strict vegetarian, though you don't have to be. I've grown to really appreciate the food out here on the West Coast, though I do miss the Lebanese cuisine of my home state.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm always discovering that I can live without more than I previous thought I could, but I understand the spirit of the question.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Sports, music, mindfulness, work stuff, relationships, people in my life, what it is to be a human being, how at times living on the coast appears to only be accessible to elites.
