Hello strangers! You've probably taken a gander at my photos in which I pretend to be someone who likes outdoor activities like skiing and cycling. Well that's somewhat true but then, like many other people I don't happen to have any pictures of me* in attractive poses doing sexy, geeky things like reading Scientific American, playing Fallout 3 on my PS3, baking lasagne or being at work writing cool stuff on computers.

What's that? They're not sexy? Oh too bad then. I guess I'm not your type.

Filling in the middle part of a dating profile with words, trying not to make it sound like every other one out there.

In the last few years I've acquired a taste for folk music, after going to the Cambridge folk festival and getting hooked. Recently I've taken up the ukulele, but don't expect any serenades; you're more likely to need a set of earplugs.

I like going on active holidays in an attempt to balance out my desk job - last year I went hiking in Madagascar, not sure what this year will bring, maybe another cycling trip?

I'll read, watch, listen to or eat anything once. But that doesn't mean I'll like it.

A colleague at work suggested that I should write a book containing weird ideas I keep coming up with. Like, how to improve the justice system with shipping containers. Or remote controlled 3G mini helicopters. But mostly my head is filled with jet engines and things that go "beep".
