If you're looking for a genuinely nice, loyal and caring guy, you can stop here. I'm from a military family and was mostly raised in the south. I'm about as laid back as a person can get and have absolutely no drama. I have a great family that I am very close with and an awesome circle of friends that none else can compare to. I am a very outdoorsy kind of guy, I drive a Jeep, and often just go for a drive with the top down and doors off. My interests include most sports (watching and playing), hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, attending beer/ wine festivals, live sporting events, live music, and playing poker. I play on 2 softball teams in spring/ summer/ fall and am also on a swim team. I used to compete in triathlons and am working to get back into shape to compete again this coming spring. I also enjoy quiet time at home watching a movie or reading a book. I'm not much of a cook, although I am a very good griller. As far as the person I am looking for, she should be fit or at least in the process of getting there. I would love to find someone who is at least somewhat into sports and/ or the outdoors. Someone who enjoys hiking and/ or kayaking would be great, or is willing to try, so we could take weekend trips together.

I currently work for a small local company as a sales rep/ technician. I do actually like my job. I make my own schedule, manage my own customer base, have nobody standing over my shoulder, and make fairly decent money doing so. I also operate my own business along with one of my brothers, will be happy to tell you more about that later.

Grilling. At any bbq I always end up being the guy doing the grilling. And I grill in any weather. Snow, rain, sleet, heat, whatever - I will grill! Also, according to my 4 year old niece, I am the "greatest uncle in the all of everywhere."

is my smile. Kinda cheesy I know. But I'm a very positive person who can find the good in anything or anyone. I'm usually happy because I enjoy my life and where I'm at right now. Although I wouldn't mind finding someone to share my positive outlook with . . .

My favorite authors include John Grisham, James Patterson, Stephen King, Scott Turow and a few others. My favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption. I enjoy mostly action/ adventure, thriller, and horror movies, but I am willing to watch a chick flick every now and then. I don't watch too much tv other than sports. As far as music goes, I like 80's, classic rock, and current rock. I like alot of different types of food, although I would have to say my favorites are Vietnamese, Thai, and sushi.

6 things that I could never do without (in no particular order) would be my immediate family, my circle of friends, fresh out of the oven home made chocolate chip cookies, sports, sushi, and music.

How to get further ahead in life. What's going on this coming weekend? Where to go on my next vacation?

Sometimes I have date night with my 4 year old niece. She is a huge part of my life and I adore spending time with her. If I'm not with her then I'm getting together with friends/ neighbors having a cookout and/ or some drinks.
