I am energetic, vulnerable, and spontaneous.
My Self-Summary
Thats me at the '07 burn with a friend (sorry rules say I cant show
her :)
If anyone can see stuff that no one else can - its me. The glasses
sometimes help - see other pic for eyes.
I have a total disregard for structured thinking.
How far has logical thinking brought us anyway? To the brink of who
knows what?
And I am editing this often as I see fit - a work in progress, like
life.
I am annoyed at being taken seriously, really, I think the whole
world needs to lighten up ALOT.
I am a creative thinker and inventive. People tell me I am an Old
Soul. I come in peace.
What I am currently manifesting are easy and playful relationships
with heart and deepening connection. I love to find connections
where it seems like we have known each other before, or can see
each other deeply relatively easily.
I have been doing tai chi for about 30 years - not for fighting
style, rather a way to age gracefully. Now adding Qi Gong and doing
more yoga.
I have a
garden
where I watch and help things grow.
What I’m doing with my life
creating lightheartedness - I have compassion and can laugh at
myself.
I play with dogs, cats, hummingbirds, my family and friends, and
occasionally a visitor!
right now I'm getting the place ready for the rainy season, growing
wheat grass and sprouts.
A friend of mine just asked me to be her Tango practice
partner.
I do tai chi and push hands a couple of times a week, so this
should be a lot of fun!
I’m really good at
Making useful things out of spare parts.
Finding something humorous about life.
Tarot card readings.
creating harmony, problem solving.
Doing one thing at a time, while multitasking.
The first things people usually notice about me
I listen, I am at ease, and I make a contribution. And I posses a
quiet intensity.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books... I go to an Eckhart Tolle group in the East Bay, I love the
work Depok Chopra is doing on the planet, Baba Ram Das is one of my
reads, so was Victor Kulvinskas' book survival into the 21st
century, Carlos Castaneda series, Conversations with God,
Siddhartha, Autobiography of a Yogi, the works of Darshan
Singh
Movies... I'll get back to you - so many to choose from Harry
Potter, Dune series, All the star treks, Being There, Blast from
the Past, I love the TV series Weeds, and got hooked on Lost last
year. more to come
Music... I listen to a variety of music - love to dance to rythem
and beats, and improvise with free flowing spacial tunes. Some of
the artists I have on my iTunes are Achillea, Stephen Halpern, Diva
Primal, Delirium, Karunesh, Anugama, Susan Teng, etc. etc.
My favorite food is non-material, more energetic food for the soul!
With edible food, I'm a lacto-
vegetarian questioning the lacto!
The six things I could never do without
Sacred Space
Creative freestyle dancing - tai chi / Qi Gong - contact
improv
Friends and hot tubbing - conversations
Nature Walks - hiking
Healing Touch body work
blue green algae - oh did I mention my computer?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to think less about everything. Seriously, I practice Surat
Shabd yoga - a meditation on the light and sound during which we
try not to think about anything at all! Good Luck!
On a typical Friday night I am
At home with friends and family...
maybe playing a game of dominoes, or
perhaps push hands, or sometimes
trading massage techniques,
on occasion creating sacred space with a friend...
Every month or so I go to the Dance Jam in Berkeley.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
All of the above. and
I REEALLY love food for the soul.
You should message me if
If you feel like it right now!
