My self-summary
Just finished my MBA at Michigan and I'm excited to be starting my new career in New York.

Grew up in Colorado, worked as a consultant in SF for 5 years prior to B School, and now I'm shifting over to investment banking in the power, utilities, and renewables space.

IG: dan.ger
What I’m doing with my life
Starting a new job in investment banking while also trying to explore the city -- tough, I know!
I’m really good at
Having fun . . . no really, I'm always having fun!

Also making people uncomfortable and always being full of surprises 😄
The first things people usually notice about me
My energy
My hair
My smile
My ridiculous outfits
That I'm having fun . . . l'm always having fun--life is good!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Economist. WSJ. DealBook
HBO. Showtime
Documentaries
Trance. Electro House. Deep House. Trap. Rap. Hip Hop
Anything ethnic and spicy (especially Asian)
The six things I could never do without
1) Passport (35 countries and counting)
2) My parents
3) My phone
4) Exploring new places, food, etc.
5) Jekyll and Hyde-types
6) TBD
I spend a lot of time thinking about
. . . how to absolutely crush everything I do

. . . how to find balance as a liberal, environmentalist, investment banker

. . . how to continue to travel the world

. . . am I living it right? (John Mayer reference haha). In all honesty though, I firmly believe that to whom much is given much is expected, and I'm constantly re-evaluating my life to make sure I'm doing my part to make the world a better place.
On a typical Friday night I am
. . . out partying with friends, exploring new bars/restaurants/clubs, or getting sleep because I have a long weekend of work ahead of me :(
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was once on a trading card called Boy Crazy. I still have many copies of the card and I think it's hilarious. I'm more than happy to share that and other awesome stories -- I'm an open book.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
. . . you're confident, passionate, fun as fuck, and generally crush life.

. . . you love to travel, believe in climate change, and believe in the power of collective action to make the world a better place.

. . . you read the link and can relate to my reaction that follows below:

http://mobile.nytimes.com/2014/06/02/technology/Fairphone-aims-to-produce-conflict-free-phone.html?emc=edit_tu_20140603&nl=technology&nlid=38457913&_r=0&referrer

I firmly believe that products like Fairphone are an absolute necessity if we ever strive to have a truly sustainable world. Yet at the same time I'm a techie at heart and I always want the newest, coolest gadgets. My ideal math is someone that feels this same conflict and pushes me to make tough decisions. Someone that challenges me to be the person I purport to be, but who also lives in the same grey area -- caught between saving the world, partying your face off, and looking fresh as fuck along the way :)
