My self-summary
I am a native californian, born and raised out in the east bay. I love the area and travel all over the bay area / state doing different activities and looking for new adventures.

As my profile name shows; I am an avid runner and rock climber. I run marathons to 5ks and everything else in-between. I rock climb in a local gym as well as all over the state. I also like to backpack, travel, and find new experiences.

I live in San Francisco working at one of the multitude of high tech companies in the South bay. This allows me to travel around the world and visit fun places. Any advice for the next country I should visit?

I have traveled to a number of countries like India, Japan, Costa Rica, and Mexico. I would like to travel to more places such as Africa and Europe.
What I’m doing with my life
Working and living in the bay area. Enjoying the great weather and all that there is to offer.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am tall, with ginger hair, and that I do not tan well. Blame the Irish and Scandinavian genealogy.

Oh and dimples; please keep the cheek pinching to a minimum.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
It is difficult to nail down my favorite book as I have read many in the past and the types of books vary. I recently read Poorly Made in China and a book on America's deadliest sniper (a military friend gave it to me).

I love all types of food and would have a hard time saying which one is at the top. But Japanese and Thai would be there. Oh and I love spicy food and have acquired a taste for the extreme-spicy.

For movies I would say the top is comedies and action films. Some of the recent one's I have seen is The Hobbit and Seven Deadly Psychopaths.

I am a normal consumer of the Daily Show and Colbert Report. Besides that I don't watch a whole lot of TV.
The six things I could never do without
My cup of joe in the morning (it is a family tradition).
My running shoes.
My iPhone because it is like having a computer.
My climbing shoes and climbing harness.
My friends and family.
Going outdoors.

Okay so there was 8 in there, but nothing specified if I could group things or not.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where the best cookies in the city are, trying to setup plans for Friday, roof top drinking, and if I should really run that half marathon coming up.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends having a drink/dinner/coffee, leaving for a backpacking or climbing trip, watching a movie, or staying in with someone special. Friday does not have to be anything specific, but I do my best to enjoy them.
