Adventurous, balanced, confident, independent, open-minded, smart and witty, I'm not the girl next door. I like to laugh, learn, inspire and be inspired. I’m creative, expressive, and sometimes unpredictable. I've got spunk, drive, and an ability to see the positive in all situations. My glass is half full.

I'm the girl who is always stopped on the street for directions and makes friends easily. I enjoy road trips, museums, concerts, movies, coffee shops, and when it comes to dining out, sushi is one of my main food groups. I prefer an active life, and see every weekend as an opening for a new adventure, even if only to discover a new favorite brunch destination or watering hole.

When it comes to who I'd like to date, you’re smart, confident, considerate, and thoughtful. You can laugh at yourself and me. Life has taught you when to take it seriously, when to ignore the small stuff, and to recognize the importance of having balance in one's life. You’re not afraid to have an opinion, but are an adept listener and can appreciate divergent points of view. You’re healthy- emotionally and physically. Like me, you see the glass as half full, are excited about the future, and see life as full of promise and adventure.

While I don't profess to be Rachel Ray or Giada de Laurentiis in the kitchen, my friends and family seem to think otherwise. They love my dinner parties and look forward to the holidays when I make fudge and pepper jelly.

I'm really good at maximizing small spaces. Give me a suitcase, a small closet, a Mini Cooper, and you would be astounded at how much I can fit into the space.

Apparently, or so the target suggests, I'm a good shot- with a bow and arrow. And I run- fast.

Favorite? I think favorites shift and change over time. I appreciate how friends and family have introduced me to new 'favorites' along the way. That said, with books, I tend to lean toward behavioral economics and psychology- yes, for fun. Ariely, Gladwell, and Ben-Shahar are recent favorites. Music taste is fairly broad, though go to would be categorized as Alternative/Indie. And food? I'm an adventurous eater and will try anything once. Love east and south Asian cuisines, Italian, and breakfast if the latter can be a category.

I can sing (studied Opera in college). While it doesn't bother me in the slightest to perform in front of strangers, singing in front of friends and family can be unnerving.
