My Self-Summary
i'm a sarcastic social worker who enjoys live music, spending time
at the beach, going to movies, and bbq-ing. i'm currently training
for the chicago marathon, so i've got a bit of a crazy streak. i'll
never turn down an invitation to a game of scrabble or a viewing of
a good documentary. while i'm proud to admit that i like to
nerd-out and do things like pub quiz and trival pursuit, i'm not
all geek.
What I’m doing with my life
getting ready to brave the chicago winter, yet again. i'm also very
career driven and am working on boosting that portfolio.
I’m really good at
cooking, striking up a conversation, playing board games, and
listening.

wow, i have no idea. maybe i should ask.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
the road, harry potter, the four agreements, and the
alchemist.
i'm an avid music lover, so if i put everything down, it would be quite lengthy. but to sum it up, these are my favourites now: lucinda williams, frightened rabbit, the ryan montbleau band, kt tunstall, brandi carlile, drive by truckers, and howie day.
i'll pretty much eat anything, or at least try it once. LOVE farmers markets. tragically, i'm not a fan of seafood, but i'm working on it!

I spend a lot of time thinking about
everything, but specifically life and what it's going to look like.
also since i spend time on the CTA, i think about all the
inappropriateness i see while riding public transit.
On a typical Friday night I am
watching a good flick, spending time with friends, or quietly
relaxing before a long saturday morning run. after the marathon,
i'll be happy to HAVE my friday nights back!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
a lot of the time, i wear my socks inside out. i mean, why would
you want that rougher side or extra strings on your feet, when you
can have the smoothness on the other side.
