My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Long-distance runner, artist, art teacher, life-long learner, bibliophile, adventurer, and foodie.

Recntly finished graduate school for art education and now I'm working as an art teacher. I am passionate about working with kids and I think art is a way for us to make sense of ourselves and our experiences in the world. I especially love painting, drawing, and ceramics.

I love running and almost any kind of physical activity, especially yoga, biking, dancing, skiing, and hiking. I have run 2 marathons (Marine Corps in 2013 and NYC in 2014) and a whole bunch of half marathons.

I grew up in NJ and have spent most of my adult life living in NYC and Washington, DC.

Some other things that I love: farmer's markets, cooking new recipes, traveling to new places (near or far), playing boggle, getting lost in bookstores, people watching, joe's coffee, spotify, museums, and marcel the shell.
