I'd describe myself as a bit of a ham (cheeky and mischievous) who knows when to take things seriously. What I'm passionate about: Working on my house, playing guitar, recording, running, mountain biking and talking to people about the things they are passionate about - and the hurdles in life they've gotten through - and what's next. Balance is important to me as far as the mind/body/soul thing is concerned.

I also have two cats (both rescues).

I'm looking to meet a woman who is wise, fun and looking for an easy, meaningful and committed relationship. Also - as I've done some therapy over the years I would ideally like to meet someone who has as well - and have that serve as a baseline for communication.

Books: Right now I'm reading "It's So Easy - And Other Lies" by Duff McKagen. Other stuff I've loved was "Me Talk Pretty One Day" by David Sedaris, "Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs" and "Killing Yourself to Live" by Chuck Klosterman, and the Game of Thrones series.

I'll pretty much see anything with/by the following actors/directors/producers: Clint Eastwood, Natalie Portman, Brad Pitt, Christopher Nolan,Wes Anderson,Lorne Michaels.

TV: Current favourites are Californication, "House of Lies", "Portlandia", "Game of Thrones", "30 Rock".

Music: I'm mainly a rock guy but stuff that I'm listening to these days includes Gov't Mule, a bit of Sarah Harmer, Springsteen, Belle and Sebastian, ZZ Top, Phish and some country stuff.

Food: I love pretty much anything that doesn't involve entrails or eyeballs but I do love Haggis. I think living in Toronto makes you into a bit of a foodie.

Funny things that people say, the next renovation I'm going to do, how to live life more authentically.

Friday is generally my chillax night, but that said it doesn't usually take much to convince me to do something. I like to come home, cook, play guitar or watch a movie when it gets too late to annoy my tenants/neighbors. Otherwise I like to head out to a local pub with friends or maybe a movie or a baseball game.

I'm bald - seriously - this is the Internet.

I'm looking for a woman who is looking for a committed relationship. Obviously it needs to be fun but the best way I can put it is "easy and meaningful". Without making it sound too hokey - I'm generally attracted to women who are confident, responsible, wise, real and know what they want, yet are considerate of others. I'm looking for someone who will challenge me. Health and fitness are priorities for me so I am looking for that in a partner as well. Finally - I'm looking for someone with a bit of personal strength and who can hang in through the good times and the bad.
