I am who, what, and where, but not when.

My Self-Summary

I like who I am. I consider myself to be easy going and laid back.

When I find something really funny, and I happen to be standing, I am prone to jumping up and down laughing. Friends imitate me for this. It's hilarious.

I tend to be sarcastic, dry, and goofy in my humor.

Raised in the South by a wonderful mom that taught me chivalry, and that women are the equals of men. Bless her heart.

What I’m doing with my life

I've got my day job, it pays the bills.

However, I've recently decided to start or join a program to help inner city kids by teaching them music. I really want to do what I can and as a musician this seems like the least I can do.

I really have no idea how to go about getting this started. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m really good at

I'm a pretty good bass player and can handle rhythm duties on guitar.

I can cook pretty damn well. Your socks will come off, come to life and say, "Damn, that guy cooked us right off."

Thinking inside the box. It's a lost art I tell you.

The first things people usually notice about me

People often tell me I have nice eyes.

Also, the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me is, "you don't talk much, but when you do talk it is funny." Not really a first impression, but it bears mentioning. And this box looked so sad with just the one line. Poor sad empty little box.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - Recently finished reading Omnivore's Dilemma and am frightened by corn. Children of the Corn is not fiction, it is prophecy.

Movies - Interstate 60, zombie movies are good, horror in general. No I won't make you watch horror movies with me. I tend to go escapist with movies, but still try to watch the powerful ones as well.

Music - It is very hard to get across my musical interests. As much as this may backfire, the first ten songs that come up on my iPod on shuffle:

1. Idioteque/Radiohead/I Might Be Wrong:Live Recordings
2. Canary In A Coalmine/The Police/Message in a Box
3. Pilage/Schlong/Fish Booty
4. Chesterfield King/Jawbreaker/Live 6/18/93
5. Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy/Queen/Greatest Hits
6. Stories/Therapy?/Infernal Love
7. Not To Call The Police/Karate/The Bed Is In The Ocean
8. John Struck Lucy/Possum Dixon
9. Page 21 [11 Frames]/Fantomas/Amenaza al Mundo
10. Joy Opposites/Cave in/Antenna

I was hoping it would be more eclectic than that. But still, pretty good. As an extra prize, here are four bands that have changed the way I look at music:

1. Led Zeppelin
2. Faith No More
3. Mr. Bungle
4. Well

If you've heard of the last one then there is a good chance you know my name.

A really good friend just told me,"I don't think I'll ever be able to predict your musical likes and dislikes in entirety"

This seems like the best place to mention this. Bill Hicks was a genius. If you aren't familiar with him check him out.

food - I like it. The shows No Reservations and Bizarre Foods have inspired me to be a more adventurous in my eating.

The six things I could never do without

Who came up with the number six? Why not five, or seven, lovely prime numbers those. And what does never really mean here? This question bugs me, but here ya go:

family/friends, my bass, The Clash - London Calling, Mr. Bungle - California, A means to play those two albums. Five would have been better people, I'm stumped, a swift kick to the head?

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How to take over the world.

On a typical Friday night I am

The same thing I do every night.

Trying to take over the world.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

When I get sad I stop being sad and be awesome instead.
True story.

You should message me if

Cause I'm awesome. duh.
