attachment to my home state. it’s lovely, grounded, underrated. if you want to debate the south v. midwest classification, just ask.
i’m a pretty open person. i’ll admit to sometimes being slow to warm up to new people but i’m usually up for trying just about anything. this past February i spent a week cross country skiing in the Gaspé peninsula with a group of 250 strangers after reading a travel article in the nytimes last year. it was the highlight of my year, even if my knees still hate me. if you wanna cross country ski or bike out to Walden, i’m in. i love to walk (fast), bike (slow), cross-country ski (slower), and run (slowest).
i work in higher ed administration and recently got my masters in general management. so now i can specifically administer and manage all things general.
i love (hate) living so close to Market Basket. it’s my destiny and my curse. i’ve ended up with sawdust covering my pants more times than I care to admit.
my walking commute to work is one of my favorite parts of my day. i don't own a car, and i mostly only miss it in the summer and winter when i want to get out of the city spontaneously and don’t want to have to worry about returning my $%@ zipcar on time in Union Square.
