My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a very active person - no matter where I go I try to be doing something. While I definitely can appreciate chilling for a bit, I'm generally not someone who can sit around for a long time, unless I'm reading a particularly enthralling book or binge watching a (good) show. If I have one of those two, all bets are off. Many a Sunday has disappeared as I've endeavored to finish off a book or a show.

I'm also someone who's always willing to try anything at least once. The way I figure it is that you'll never really grow as a person unless you're willing to try new things and see things differently. From my experience you'll most likely be pleasantly surprised.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Getting my MBA.

Struggling to understand why/how people find running enjoyable, but sticking to it regardless (this is becoming more and more perplexing to me as I'm upping my mileage). Ran my first 5k this year though!

Basketball! I'm part of a club team that goes to a national tournament once a year as well as a few other smaller tournaments in the area.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Resisting the allure of a late night snack after a night out.

Continuously putting off getting back into playing the piano.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height/size? I'm a pretty big person and played football throughout a large portion of my life.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Ender's Game, anything by Arthur C Clarke, most Stephen Baxter books, ASoIaF books, many more that I can't remember. Generally a sci-fi or fantasy fan, but I like really anything.

Movies: Classic Disney, Monster's Inc., 12 Monkeys, Secondhand Lions, Zoolander, Dumb and Dumber, Anchorman, 40 Year Old Virgin

Shows: Community (RIP), Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Avatar, The Wire, Mad Men, Hannibal

Music: Anything really, not too picky. Just starting to get into EDM, though I mostly listen to it while running or driving. And old school Mariah.

Food: Everything except for invertebrates.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My bicycle/motorcycle - let's me avoid the MBTA for much of the year. Also pretty relaxing in the right setting.
2) A glass of good, single-malt whiskey after a long week.
3) Basketball - exercise, fun and competition, what's not to like?
4) Sunny / nice weather - I'm always particularly tired and grumpy on grey days. Pretty sure I wouldn't be able to survive in Alaska during their half year (?) of perpetual darkness.
5) A good book to read
6) Protein - I love carbs and all but a good steak/BBQ/etc can't be beat.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- How to get better at basketball (and when I'll finally be able to dunk...working hard on it).

- Why all the best tasting food is so bad for you.

- Whether I want to go see the sinkholes in the Yucatan or scuba diving in a coral reef first.

- If I'll get the chance to learn how to snowboard this winter (learned how to ski a couple years ago)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
1) Catching up with my tv shows
2) Reading a book
3) Or, most likely, going out with friends for a few drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to love watching the old VH1 shows like Rock of Love and Flava of Love. I actually correctly predicted the winner of the Rock of Love: Bus Tour!
