I am smart, funny, and all that is man.

My Self-Summary

My name is Ryan and I have a track addiction. I take regular hits off the go fast track pipe. I sometimes wonder if it would be cheaper and healthier to get hooked on regular ole' crack rocks. Actually in all seriousness, I like doing this trackday thing on my motorcycle(s). It's helped me improve my life in many ways and allowed me to meet a lot of good people.

Anyway thats my gimmick. I like doing some of the normal stuff too. Bars occasionally, movies, little vacations, etc.

What I’m doing with my life

Working to live. Kind of bored with work because in the end I'm just making other people's garbage. I think I've gotten too good at it, but sort of plateaued. It's like the dishwashing elephant on the Flintstones says, "Eh, it's a living." Of course I'm kind of on the look out for a better more interesting job. Oh yeah, I'm a mechanical engineer.

Just live in a house with a roommate and an awesome bulldog. Really I just wanted some garage space to work on cars and bikes, but it'll do.

I’m really good at

I hope engineering. I mean I do get a paycheck for it. It's all relative though. I'd say I am better than the average person at riding motorcycles, but I don't get paid big money to do it. I'd say I'm pretty damn funny based on the feedback (laughs) to my intentional and unintentional comedy.

The first things people usually notice about me

How should I know? It's not like the conversation goes like, "Wow nice smile!" or "Oh, your tall and handsome!" Like that subtle making stuff up?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Atlas Shrugged, ...

Movies: Fight Club, superhero movies (Ironman, Superman Returns), comedies (Hangover was surprisingly good), Old School, Superbad, etc., Contact, Gattaca, ...

Music
Classical: Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Mahler, Strauss, Rachmaninoff, etc.
Alternative: Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, ...
Electronic: Tiesto, Oceanlab, Armin Van Buren, Ferry Corsten, Robbie Rivera, ...

Food
I'm a meatatarian. Recently went to Texas de Brazil and it was AWESOME! I love anything ridiculously hot & spicy.

The six things I could never do without

Car - I need to get around and I'm a car guy
Motorcycle - it's a lot of fun, makes me feel like a mechanical genius
Phone/Internet - have to be able to communicate
Goals - It's nice to have little projects to work on, to be continually improving oneself

Okay, I really only have 4 for now.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How to improve myself and things external to me. Like the traffic systems I encounter everyday.

On a typical Friday night I am

Until recently, working a part time job. Now I don't know what to do with myself! I would go out on Saturday night. Hang out with friends, maybe a few beers/drinks. Go to dinner, movie, etc.

Of course I spend quite a few summer weekends at the track.

You should message me if

You like what you see and you think we would hit it off.
