My self-summary
Hello there, I'm Ryan.

I'm going to lead with my strong suit: I make more corny jokes per second then 98% of people and more half decent jokes then 14% of people. Boom. Sorry about that crater in the floor, you'll be able to walk again in a couple hours.

I'm a very, very confident individual. Some might feel tempted to use big, mean words about that like "arrogant twat" (Even OKC, apparently), but that implies that I can't do all the things I say I can, which is ridiculous. (That was a joke. Mostly.)

Besides, would that awkward 'smile' lie to you?

For a medical school app, I had to put three words a college roommate would use to describe me. I asked and his choices were amiable, astute, and helpful. Take that for what you will.
What I’m doing with my life
Graduated from UCI last year. After failing to get in to med school, I'm currently doing lab work for Focus Diagnostics for the next few months (Maybe hired on permanently, maybe finding a new job)

After that, emulate Dr. Horrible or enter the working world. Preferably the former.

Oh, and I've lived all over the country and really like southern California, so I'm doing what I can to stay here for the foreseeable future.
I’m really good at
-Seeing the good side of things.

-Debating, especially ethics/philosophy even though I can't stand relevant readings.

-Math/logic. I used to do competitive math. Right?

-Turning people off by talking about how I used to do competitive math

-Eating a lot and somehow still staying skinny (Oh god I don't want to get old)
The first things people usually notice about me
"Has anyone ever told you you look like that guy from spiderman."

Half of my friends swear I'm his twin, the other half don't see it at all D:

More people know me as James Franco at my rock climbing gym then as silly names like 'Ryan' or 'Griswold'.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As far as books, I'm a big fan of the Ender's Game/Ender's Shadow series(Like a septuple orgasm from each book. Oddly enough, I can't stand anything else by Orson Scott Card). I generally prefer straight fiction over realistic fiction but the biggest decider of a book for me is how the villains are portrayed: Mr. evil guy who wants to be evil to be evil makes me hate a book. I'm a huge fan of books where the tables could be turned and the antagonist would be the good guy if the story was told from their perspective because they're working for a cause that's antagonistic to the protagonist's, not because their cause is inherently evil.

I'm not into movies in general. My favorite would have to be Dr. Horrible, but it's only like 50 minutes so it doesn't really count as a movie per say.

When I watch shows, I prefer comedies. Stuff like HIMYM, scrubs, archer, boondocks, etc.

If I had to name my favorite genre, it'd probably be punk rock. Stuff like Rise Against, Anberlin, The Academy is, Breaking Benjamin, etc but I will listen to some songs from almost all genres.

I love to cook, especially pastas and salads. I love to eat Italian food and its the only place I'll eat cheese (Can't stand it on a sandwich, love it over pasta)
The six things I could never do without
Computer/internet... for work... of course.
A giant comforter (best feeling in the mornings)
Family/friends.
Music, to air drum along too when I'm doing boring work
Hot showers after a cold day.
Cloud, my dog. Even though he's a grumpy old man who think's he's a cat.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Whimsical problems, like at what point around ring road it's better to cut to the inner road. The answer is surprisingly that it's almost always better tos tay on the outside.

How we could solve most of our problems by not being dicks for like five minutes a day and all of them if we did it for ten minutes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either out with friends or online with them.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I'm on my computer, I probably have a video game stream on my second screen. Sometimes it's just background noise, sometimes I actually watch. If it seems that odd, just think of it like watching MLB or NBA games.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–24
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For short-term dating, casual sex
You should message me if
You don't mind hearing corny jokes.

You're relieved to hear my hair isn't nearly as curly as it is in my profile pictures.

Oh, right. Being serious time. This seems to be frowned upon, but I'm not looking for something too serious. Ideally, I'd love someone to go out with and have a good time doing whatever. I'm not sure where the future will take me so I'm not exactly looking for things that will cement me anywhere.
