My self-summary
I'm American since at least our civil war. But I love travel and currently live overseas. Trying to improve my French... I'm good at things.

There are times when I know I am a part of everything. I have beautiful, lifelong friends in all corners. This fact makes my heart feel full quite often. My capacity to feel this way exceeds my ability to explain it. The important point is that I have this capacity. I am capacious in other ways that also defy explanation.

There are also times when I feel desperately alone...A withered husk at the wind's whim.

And this is my conundrum: How can I feel so abundant and yet so alone? This is where you might be able to help...
What I’m doing with my life
Gossamer dreams. And high fives.
I’m really good at
Parallel parking, making awesome mixtapes, Jeopardy, kissing, making people laugh with my bracingly blue wit, and alliteration.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyebrows or my beard.

So I guess facial hair is my answer to this question.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Raspberry milkshakes, pizza, Negronis.

One of my favorite songs is One O'Clock Boogie by the Count Basie Orchestra. Another is Rage by Hyper Crush. Another is One by Metallica. Yet another is Last Night the Bottle Let Me Down by Merle Haggard. Also, these caught my ear recently:
Daft Punk w Pharrell - http://vimeo.com/71804663 and this
Alt-J - http://vimeo.com/39435342
Spirit Animal - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bf8A-4j3zBw
RAC - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wLaMWMG_2c
(the Official US video for that last one is amazing...)

Books: "Sexual Personae" by Paglia...I dare you to read the first few pages on Amazon.com and NOT buy it. "Blood Meridian" by McCarthy...stark & brutal. "Life of Pi" by Martel...hopeful. Etc., etc. I also love biographies of historically significant people. A Song of Ice and Fire series...when is book six coming???

Movies: Hanna, The Princess Bride, Kick Ass, Stepbrothers, Secretary, pretty much any Western, Troy, both Kill Bills, Star Wars, etc.
The six things I could never do without
1) An atmosphere that is about 78% Nitrogen and 21% Oxygen
2) A medium-sized yellow star that is about 93 million miles away from my home planet
3) A magnetic field on my home planet that deflects most of the harmful radiation battering it from that star and elsewhere in space.
4) Water
5) Food
6) Hilarious YouTube videos like Denver the Guilty Dog:

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Space travel, Dark Flow, being outside, my future...

I really like women who are very intelligent and independent. You're stylish and you can enjoy any social setting (theater/rock shows, family/old friends/new friends, dive bars/fine dining, tent camping/The Ritz, etc). I think the sexiest outfit a woman can wear is a t-shirt, jeans and heels...anything (or nothing) with heels, really.
