I'm intelligent, fun-loving, kind, and funny.

I have a serious nature broken by a sometimes sarcastic (okay, often sarcastic) sense of humor.

I am deeply philosophical. Also completely fascinated (and greatly amused) by the world.

I'm optimistic. . . even when the Red Sox are behind. (Yes, even when they're WAY behind.)

I'm a sci fi geek who can rattle off the entire intro to Quantum Leap.

Writing is my passion. (And reading. And family. Animals. Vacations. Sometimes indoor rock climbing. Singing badly to loud music while driving. . . .)

I can't spell to save my life, which is ironic considering I'm a writer.

I hate rollercoasters, but my favorite place in the world is the Spiderman ride at Universal Studios.

I eat pretty healthy, but I can't live without chocolate.

I'm looking for my soul mate.

I have too many favorite things to list. But here are some: the color blue, sci fi, comedy, chocolate in general and chocolate rasberry truffle ice cream in particular, dogs, cats, bunnies, the Red Sox, bookstores, libraries, Dean Koontz, 70s and 80s music, Sting, Coldplay, The Fray, Big Bang Theory, Leverage, Flashpoint, Stargate Atlantis, summer and fall, any hour after midnight, spell check, learning something new, theoretical and quantum physics....

Family. Friends. My two cats. Books. A passion. Chocolate.

New stories. Also, why my cat chases — but never seems to catch — an invisble mouse.
