My self-summary
I'm thirty three years old. I've lived in Miami most of my life. I find it very difficult to not find people in this city, who are not a bunch of superficial assholes. That being said, I know they exist. I'm just hoping I haven't met most of them already. Sometimes stupid things come out of my mouth, but usually thoughtful is how most people would describe.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a lawyer. I work, but I try to make sure to find time for myself and to think of other things. If there was anyway to not have to work and make money that would be great. Reading, watching movies, and trying to explain to people how supply side economics is a bunch of nonsense, also consumes a good portion of my life.
I’m really good at
At taking naps. Voicing my opinion. Philosophizing on the importance of Joss Whedon on modern pop culture.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sarcasm
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite movie: I could sit here all day and write movies I love. My favorites are movies that make me feel anything and of course shitty movies. When a movie is so unwatchable that you can't stop watching and laughing at it, that is a great movie. Probably my favorite example; Death Wish 3.
Favorite Book : American Gods by Neil Gaiman, I have read more books these past years than anytime prior. I'm trying to expand my horizons.
Favorite Bands. I tend to listen to a good amount of music. Mostly I prefer punk rock. I could listen to Billy Bragg, the Ramones, The Mr. T Experience, etc. any day of the week. That being said I love Austin Lucas, the Magnetic Fields, Anything Bob Mould does, 90's hip hop and R&B, and anything with Soul. I also love bands like Circa Survive, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Failure. It's a mix bag, but usually a guitar in involved.
Television shows: SOA, Fringe, Game of thrones, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Community, and anything Joss Whedon does.
The six things I could never do without
Friends, Records, Movies, Family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Planning vacations.
On a typical Friday night I am
I am going to a bar or going to dinner with friends. Unless there is a show.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can't carry a conversation with a stupid person.
You should message me if
You are awesome.
