My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Ah, tabula rasa. Perhaps it's time to update these things since the old ones were written several years ago.

I'm a 30-something Bachelor of SCIENCE in Computer Science with minors in Mathematics and Theoretical Philosophy. I'm not currently planning on continuing my studies (at least for a while), and am now pretty comfortably employed in my own field.

On the spare time front I mostly spend it hanging out or otherwise engaging with friends, playing computer games and role-playing games and fiddling about with photography. I used to spend a lot of time working for my osakunta (a student organization or maybe a student corporation or a student nation) but that time has passed now, altough I might end up doing something similiar for some non-profit organization or club later on in life.

I like animals (except for scorpions and spiders, which I consider less "pets" and more "nightmares made real"), and recently adopted a two-year old ex-boy cat.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In a narrow sense I'm currently making the final transition from a student's life to a working man's life. I tried straddling the fence, but it was a pain :D

In a broad sense I'm living my life. I'm not a driven person, I don't feel like I have to accomplish Official Milestones to improve my self-worth. I like giving of myself to communities (currently focusing on a student community, who knows what else later on) and find working with others for a common cause very fulfilling.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking about things and sounding like I have a clue - I might not have the faintest idea about what I'm flapping my gums about, but I sure do sound convincing.

I'm good at finding things out. I'm good at drinking up information, like a sponge.

I'm really good at listening.

I'm good at other things too but I shan't write them on here for all the world to see.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My beard, my bald head (when I remember to shave it properly), my voice and my laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite books include pretty much everything by Terry Pratchett, the obvious Lord of the Rings, American Gods by Neil Gaiman, The Cyberiad by Stanislaw Lem... Let's just say Sci-Fi and fantasy.

Music-wise my current favorite bands are the Finnish thrash metal orchestras Stam1na and Mokoma, altough I like older metal (like Judas Priest or Accept) as well. Finnish progressive rock from YUP and CMX is enjoyable, as is nerdy music from Weird Al, Kuha. and MC Frontalot. I've also been known to listen to electronic music, such as Aphex Twin, Eat Static, Orb, Underworld, Giant Robot and Kraftwerk.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends
Laughter
Love

times two.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spin stories in my head, either for just my own entertainment or sometimes in order to turn them into scenarios, stories, campaigns and sagas in role-playing games. I might only rarely get a finished, concrete thing out of it, but I like thinking about it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends, checking out a student party or playing hermit at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is in one of the questions I answered publicly.
