My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I wont tell you my name but I can tell you that it means ambidexter (Oh yes!). Well, my parents had high expectations!

Pursuing research. Have serious interest in films and theater. Into avant-garde films and world cinema. Gradually building up my DVD collection! (It is still quite small but you have an open invitation to take a tour of the rack.) I love exploring new places and wandering around neighborhoods of NY city is something I love doing! I love to paint, but I have not been doing it for a while and would probably get back to it anytime soon (hopefully!).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I guess gathering enough knowledge to finally speak truth to power, but given it's gonna take time I don't mind opening youtube and watching a good stand up comedy once in a while! (Luis CK my fav)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
intellectual conversations!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile (I guess!)

Movies: I'm a lot into foreign films, Iranian ones are my fav. In Hollywood I love Coen brothers, Sidney Lumet, Scorsese, Hitchcock and Charlie Kaufman stuff...it is hard to give a list. Oh I almost forgot Kubrick and Jarmusch! My mentor of course is Satyajit Ray. Anyways, the point is we can talk about it!

TV: Watching quite a bit these days. Loved House of Cards (2013), and The Americans. Didn't like Girls. Like Louie very much.

Food: Apart from Indian? Thai, Korean and Ethiopian (among many others). I love experimenting with food.

Books: Hemingway, Chekov, Gogol, Gabriel Garcia, the list is as usual quite long. Well, I'm into non-fiction these days, read Amitav Ghosh's In an Antique Land and Graeber's book on the history of Debt, both quite fascinating. Love Jonathan Franzen.

Music: Listen to a lot of different stuff. Don't mind experimenting.
