i finished my undergrad in san diego a couple of years ago. i
graduated with a degree in human bio and minored in psych from
ucsd. i really loved living down in socal, well most of the time
anyways. i decided to move home since most of my family is up here
and my college friends were all going to be scattered across the
i loved socal and everything it had to offer, but i'm definitely a
norcal girl :)
i really don't know what else to say....i'm looking for a guy to
hang out with. life is stressful enough so it would be nice to have
someone i know i can count on.
What I’m doing with my life
i am currently working at a biotech company in south san francisco
as an admin. it turns out being a sales manager for the previous
year at a hotel came in handy. you know how everyone's experience
is different and how they handle situations based on their
experience....so very true. i handle high pressured situations well
since i was so used to being pulled in a million directions at the
hotel. i really enjoyed being a sales manager; meeting and talking
to new people made everyday different and interesting. i think even
though i might not have originally seen myself in sales (since my
background is in bio) I'm really happy I fell into it. the past
year has taught me so much about myself. life is funny that way. To
expect the unexpected is part of the fun. just have to tell myself
its not about the destination, but the adventure along the way.
I’m really good at
making people feel comfortable. a lot of my friends say its
they can tell me anything without feeling judged. a lot of
they find that i can relate to their issues, so i can see
from their perspective. its easy to talk to someone thats
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile? haha what do people really put in this section. I think
I'm a pretty social person/ so my friendly and bubbly personality
is something people also notice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
i enjoy reading love stories. i love it when the female
finds love... i'm a hopeless romantic and feel like i can relate
the characters. also, i LOVED the hunger games series. if you
haven't read it, you need to!
my favorite movie right now is FROZEN :) I know it's super kiddie
but if you haven't watched it, add it to that long list of movies
you know you should watch!
as far as TV shows go, my favorites are: revenge, once upon a time,
2 broke girls, baby daddy, greys,
favorite music is usually top 40 or whatever is on the radio.
actually really like country... well some of it anyways. (as
shocking as that sounds). i love the lyrics of county songs.
country singers are always telling a story when they are singing.
they are always about life and love.
favorite foods: i love trying new food. i'll try almost anything
least once. the only exception... onions. i hate onions. but i do
like thai, korean, japanese
The six things I could never do without
- friends and family (it's always good to know you have people
can depend on)
- phone - typical i know. but doesnt everyone feel naked when they
forget their phone at home?
- my camera- Cannon T4i Rebel DSLR :)
- tv (i watch wayyy too much tv. i love tv :) )
- a good book
- sarcasm :p
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what i'm going to do next. i haven't quite decided if i want to go
back to school or not. i'm hoping that more work experience will
help me decide. it's part of why i went back to the biotech
industry... if i stayed in sales i would never go back to school.
thinking 5 or 10 years in the future is scary and i can't see where
i want to go yet.
On a typical Friday night I am
meeting up with friends and usually finding some new dessert place
to check out. dessert is always the best part of any meal!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
i still sleep with my baby blanket... guess im sentimental :p
