My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
After graduating college I moved to Chicago. I had every intention of applying to Medical school after taking some much justified time off. Come to find out, some years later my heart really just wasn't in it. So...next year I will be applying to Veterinary school, which makes me really happy! Maybe I'll have a career by the time I'm 40!

I am thoughtful, disorganized, and grateful
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as a bartender on the north side of chicago while applying to go back to school. In the spring/summer I'm volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center out in fox valley. Oh, I'm also super busy being an excellent mom to my awesome dog.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
using "to" and "too" correctly, trivia (I remember a lot of random things), getting dirty(heads out of the gutter folks..I'm serious, like in the dirt, outside, worms & flowers...you get the idea), talking to my dog, jaywalking, laughing out loud (even when I'm by myself), recognizing someone by their voice,
The first things people usually notice about me

.."hey, haven't I seen you somewhere before?"
I get that a lot, and the answer is probably yes.

Other than that,

Perhaps my interesting fashion sense. My mom says I probably inherited it from my dad, which may not be a good thing...

I also drink what my dad considers "old man drinks." I love drinking a good Manhattan or Old Fashioned.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Coffee/Good Beer, 2. Music, 3. My dog, 4. Friends & Family, 5. yoga/running/activity
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The lessons life has taught me so far, and the new things I learn everyday. I think about the person I was 5 years ago and am in awe of how much I've altered and the things I've experienced. I remind myself to be open-minded. I've learned that if I want to know more about the world, I have to give everything a chance.
I'm constantly trying to create and look for new and exciting opportunities. Where I am does not determine where I can go. I create my own limitations.
Although at one point in my life, I viewed any type of attachment to anything as weak, I am learning that I need others. I make as many friends as I can and I don't burn bridges. No matter how much I give, I realize I get so much more.
My philosophy in life has changed dramatically, and is in constant flux. I spend a lot of time thinking about my life and it's place in the world around me. I've come to figure out that my view of life really is the reality. How I see an event or situation is how it exists. Inspiration and motivation are everywhere. I have the ability to change the world by changing the lives of people around me. I truly believe every little bit counts.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Unpredictable. If I'm not out, I'm probably at home watching a movie with my computer at hand... it's weird, but using IMDB helps me sleep better at night because I'm not constantly wondering "where did I see that actor before?"
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
