My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Sage. I'm laid back, passionate, and I love to laugh.

To tell the truth, I am in a strange place in life and not sure that I am open to something serious right now, but on the same token, I don't do casual hookups or the like. I'm kindof unsure about the whole online dating scene, but the way I see things there's no harm in at least making a few new friends and seeing where things go...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated high school as part of Class of 2012 and began college at TCC the following Fall. For quite some time my primary course of study was psychology, but I am not as drawn to that anymore; lately, I have been more interested in creative career paths. My current passion is glassblowing. It's challenging, fun, and brings me joy and pride I have not found in many other activities. That said, I am planning to try a few other creative courses in the next couple semesters as well to make sure I choose the best fit for me! I'm not sure of my exact path just yet, but I am excited to figure it out. To me, happiness is true success and I hope to surround myself with people who can support my dreams and take interest in the things both great and small that bring me joy.

I currently live at home with my mom, but wish to find a place of my own as soon as I am financially able. But first, I'm saving up money from work for a car so I can get around independently, cause public transportation suuuuucks. D:
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting along with people. I can seriously get along with just about anyone. I am generally friendly when approached, though I am not necessarily the one who reaches out to another person first. I'm usually just as happy remaining in my current social group (or even alone) as I am meeting new people. I tend to let meeting new people happen naturally, which can make that actually happening a little difficult; I am much more shy than I let on, thus I sometimes feel a little anxious about approaching others. xP

Being someone to talk to. I feel honored when a friend or acquaintance comes to me to ask for advice or to just get something off their chest. I am always happy to listen when someone needs to talk about their troubles. I like to support those I care about in whatever way I can. Knowing that I could brighten someone's day in even the smallest way makes me very happy~ <3

I am also pretty good at artistic stuff when I put effort into it. I think this is due to the fact that I am slow, methodical and particular when I create things. I feel that I am multi-talented and can master many skills when I choose to pursue them. Right now, my favorite creative endeavor is glass art. If I had someone who'd care to listen, I could probably talk about it for hours! Cx

I think my laid back, humorous approach to life is one of my most evident personality traits. I avoid being too serious when the situation does not call for it. It's no fun.

I do wear prescription glasses. Well, I'm supposed to, anyway. I often go without them unless I need to see stuff far away. I'm not wearing them in my main photo because of that, plus I generally dislike how photos come out when I have them on. If you're curious I do have one picture here in which I'm wearing them.

I have spider bites (2 lip rings), which I'd assume is pretty noticeable seeing as they're on my face! I also have my belly button pierced, though I rarely have the jewelry in. I don't currently have tattoos but might in the future, though most of them would be somewhat small or subtle. Moderation is important when it comes to body modification!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

To sum up my taste in entertainment, I love comedy or satire of all kinds. I tend to gravitate towards bizarre or twisted/dark humor. I'm the kind of person that believes basically anything can be funny in the right context. Dark stories or those involving some kindof controversy are often very interesting to me. I also love when old stories are re-invented.

GAMING: Unfortunately I don't have much spare cash for it, but I do enjoy video games! Currently I play League of Legends (not saying I'm good, if I played ranked, I'd proooooobably be Tinfoil V lmao), and a little Hearthstone on PC. I LOOOOOVE the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Series, which I play on my 3DS. Portal is a BIG favorite of mine. I also have a Wii, Xbox360, and a couple older consoles, though I don't play those too much as of late. I'm definitely seeing that PC gaming would be the superior way to game for me personally, and hope to invest in a computer better suited for such use when I can!

BOOKS: I don't read as much as I used to but this is something I am trying to change. Books that I have read and loved include the Harry Potter series, A Clockwork Orange (probably my favorite as of yet. Though I prefer the book, I enjoy the movie adaption as well), A Series of Unfortunate Events, Looking for Alaska, The Fault in Our Stars, and the Hunger Games trilogy.

MOVIES: Movies I love include Endless Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sweeny Todd, Pacific Rim, 50 First Dates, The Breakfast Club, The Dark Knight, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, LotR, and Back to the Future - just to name a few! My favorite movie genre is comedy, no contest there. I still do and always will love animated movies! I am in touch with the kid in me :)

SHOWS: I love cartoons, and I probably always will. Regular Show is probably my favorite, but I also like Adventure Time! I enjoy anime as well. Death note is one of my favorites by far - I have all the manga, and DVDs. Others I've enjoyed include Welcome to the NHK (a new favorite!), Princess Jellyfish, The Devil is a Part Timer, Black Butler, Ouran High School Host Club, and a few others.

MUSIC: I listen to a really wide range of music genres, anywhere from pop to metal, though I generally never like country. I particularly enjoy the Gorillaz (my favorite band), and also love Poets of the Fall, Studio Killers, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, LMFAO, Katy Perry, Kesha, Pogo(aka Nick Bertke), Disturbed, Lady Gaga and a lot more.

FOOD: I really, really love food in general; however, some of my favorites include Pickles, Pineapple, Mandarin orange segments(the ones that come packaged in their own juice or syrup), and sweet stuff in general, like fruit. I really love seafood because I grew up eating it all the time, but I hardly get to have it anymore, which I find really disappointing - especially since I have recently developed a particular taste for seared scallops. I also love spicy foods (I've always got a big bottle of Sriracha at home, and I'll try it on just about anything!). I love garlicky stuff. I like some sushi (I'm really picky about the raw stuff though), and love Indian and Thai cuisine. I tend to prefer bold flavors. I'll try almost anything once, because I might be missing out on something great - and if I don't like something, I never have to eat it again, so I've got nothing to lose! Trying new things (in all areas of life) is an adventure!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Sweet tea!
Oxygen's pretty nice too.

One extra item: My 3DS because its pretty much a part of my body at this point. x: I have the NES XL model. It's pretty cool. You should be jealous. Jussayin'.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you are well-spoken, loyal, love to laugh, feel that friendship is the base to any kind of relationship, and like to explore new things in life.

If you fit the criteria I have provided above in the "I'm looking for" section. I put the information there for a reason - I have a general idea of what I want, and that idea matters to me. Yes, boys, that DOES include your age. I'm not dating someone nearly twice my age... unless you're Ryan Reynolds.

I will NOT date someone whose job requires them to go out to sea and/or travel great distances for long periods of time. So if you are one of these people, I'm sorry to say that messaging me is a waste of your (and my) time. Why? Because you cannot be with a person unless you are actually WITH that person. It's as simple as that.

If you ask me anything sexual in your first message, my response will be either negative or nonexistent. I am NOT looking for casual sex. Realize that jokes of this nature may not come off well - I might not understand that you're joking. I get a lot of messages from guys obviously just looking to fool around, and it's entirely possible that a misunderstood joke could land you in that category from my point of view. So while dirty jokes are fun, you probably shouldn't start off with one.

Oh, It's also important that you've filled out your profile with at least a little info, have a few photos up, and have maybe answered some questions (honestly, of course), so I have a small idea about who you are. Would you consider messaging me in the first place if you didn't know a bit about what I'm like, or at least see what I looked like? Probably not, and the same applies to whether or not I'll even consider responding.
