Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Sage :) I'm laid back, passionate, and I love to laugh. Honestly, I'm kindof unsure about the whole online dating scene, but the way I see things there's no harm in at least making a few new friends and seeing where things go...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated high school as part of Class of 2012 and began college at TCC the following Fall. I just turned 20, so I am currently still living at home with my mother, and plan to do so until I am financially able to get a place of my own - which I look forward to! As of the moment I am hoping to find a decent job that can help me attain that goal in the near future. I dream of one day pursuing a career in psychology, and thus plan to study one (or both) during college. Though these are my primary interests as to courses of study, I am interested in a number of others. For example, I also take glassblowing! It is both fun and challenging. Since I am still unsure of the exact direction I wish to go, I'm planning to start out small with general studies, and add in classes tied to my preferred Major/minor studies in future semesters as I become more sure of my goals.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
getting along with people - When meeting new people I take a casual, good humored approach, so there typically are few people that dislike me immediately (at least from what I can tell). I am generally outgoing when approached, though I am not necessarily the one who reaches out to another person first, because I can get pretty shy from time to time. I'm usually just as happy remaining in my current social group (or even alone) as I am meeting new people. Basically, I don't force myself to meet new people - I let it happen naturally. Plus due to shyness... sometimes approaching people can be scary. Lol.

I am also pretty good at drawing and most forms of art when I put effort into it. I think this is due to the fact that I am slow, methodic and particular when I create things. I feel that I am multi-talented and can master many skills when I choose to pursue them.
The first things people usually notice about me

I think my laid back, humorous approach to life is one of my most evident personality traits. I avoid being too serious when the situation does not call for it. It's no fun.

I do wear prescription glasses. I'm not wearing them in my main photo because I generally dislike how photos come out when I have them on, but if you're curious I do have one uploaded here in which I'm wearing them.

I have spider bites (2 lip rings), which I'd assume is pretty noticeable seeing as they're on my face! In addition to that I have my belly button pierced, though I rarely have the jewelry in. I don't currently have tattoos but probably might in the future, though most of them would be somewhat small or subtle. Basically, I just don't want to be covered in them. To me, moderation is important when it comes to body modification.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
To sum up my taste in entertainment, I love comedy or satire of all kinds. I tend to gravitate towards bizarre or twisted/dark humor. I'm the kind of person that believes basically anything can be funny in the right context. Dark stories or those involving some kindof controversy are often very interesting to me. I also love when old stories are re-invented.

BOOKS: I don't read as much as I used to but this is something I am trying to change. Books that I have read and loved include the Harry Potter series, A Clockwork Orange (probably my favorite as of yet. Though I prefer the book, I enjoy the movie adaption as well), Looking for Alaska, The Fault in Our Stars, and the Hunger Games trilogy.

MOVIES: Movies I love include Endless Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sweeny Todd, Pacific Rim, 50 First Dates, The Breakfast Club, The Dark Knight, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, LotR, and Back to the Future just to name a few. My favorite movie genre is comedy or romantic comedies. I still do and always will love animated movies! I am in touch with the kid in me :)

SHOWS: I love cartoons, and I probably always will. Regular Show is probably my favorite, but I also love Adventure Time! I'm also into anime. Death note is one of my favorite anime series by far - I have all the manga, and DVDs. I also like Bleach but am not very far into the series. I also like Inuyasha, which is the first anime I really ever watched, and many more. I watched Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z when I was little, but didn't really know what was going on - I was too young. :P

MUSIC: I listen to a really wide range of music genres, anywhere from pop to metal, though I generally never like country. I particularly enjoy the Gorillaz (my favorite band), and also love Poets of the Fall, Studio Killers, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, LMFAO, Katy Perry, Kesha, Pogo(aka Nick Bertke), Disturbed, Lady Gaga and a lot more.

FOOD: I really, really love food in general; however, some of my favorites include Pickles, Pineapple, Mandarin orange segments(the ones that come packaged in their own juice or syrup), and sweet stuff in general, like fruit. I really love seafood because I grew up eating it all the time, but I hardly get to have it anymore, which I find really disappointing - especially since I have recently developed a particular taste for seared scallops. I also love spicy foods (I've always got a big bottle of Sriracha at home, and I'll try it on just about anything!). I love garlicky stuff. I like some sushi (I'm really picky about the raw stuff though), and love Indian and Thai cuisine. I tend to prefer bold flavors. I'll try almost anything once, because I might be missing out on something great - and if I don't like something, I never have to eat it again, so I've got nothing to lose! Trying new things (in all areas of life) is an adventure!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Vitamin Water!
Oxygen's pretty nice too.

One extra item: My 3DS because its pretty much a part of my body at this point (especially since Animal Crossing [edit: Pokemon X] came out)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Space. Gotta go to space. Space space. Yes. Please. Space. Go to space. Yeah. Ba. Ba. Ba. Wanna go to space. Better buy a telescope. Wanna see me? Buy a telescope. Gonna be in space. HEY. hEy Lady. Wait. Space. Where we going? Let's go to space. So much space. Need to see it all. Hmm hm hmm.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Relaxing at home, online, playing video games (I especially like retro games), or going somewhere with my friends.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you are well-spoken, loyal, love to laugh, feel that friendship is the base to any kind of relationship, and like to explore new things in life.

If you fit the criteria I have provided above in the "I'm looking for" section. I put the information there for a reason - I have a general idea of what I want, and that idea matters to me. Yes, boys, that DOES include your age. I'm not dating someone nearly twice my age... unless you're Ryan Reynolds.

I will NOT date someone whose job requires them to go out to sea and/or travel great distances for long periods of time. So if you are one of these people, I'm sorry to say that messaging me is a waste of your (and my) time. Why? Because you cannot be with a person unless you are actually WITH that person. It's as simple as that.

If you ask me anything sexual in your first message, my response will be either negative or nonexistent. I am NOT looking for casual sex. Realize that jokes of this nature may not come off well - I might not understand that you're joking. I get a lot of messages from guys obviously just looking to fool around, and it's entirely possible that a misunderstood joke could land you in that category from my point of view. So while dirty jokes are fun, you probably shouldn't start off with one.

Oh, It's also important that you've filled out your profile with at least a little info, have a few photos up, and have maybe answered some questions (honestly, of course), so I have a small idea about who you are. Would you consider messaging me in the first place if you didn't know a bit about what I'm like, or at least see what I looked like? Probably not, and the same applies to whether or not I'll even consider responding.
