I am an independent, laid back, fun loving, silly girl who loves anything and everything that has to do with the water. I am tired with the whole bar scene as far as meeting people goes. I enjoy getting together with friends and just generally having a good time. My philosophy is that if you surround yourself with good people then it doesn't matter what you are doing you can have a good time. I am an avid reader and slightly addicted to coffee. I enjoy cooking, watching movies, sailing, camping, hiking, travelling, and am up for trying pretty much anything.

I am looking for someone with a sense of adventure, who enjoys being out and about, and who does not take life or themselves too seriously. They also need to have aspirations and passion in life.

After college I spent a few years as a tall ship sailor but after a while the constant moving got to be a bit tiring. I am now a science teacher at an independent middle school. While it is not what I originally thought I would end up doing I find that I really love it and am glad I did.

I love anything by John Irving or tom Robbins. I also really like Paolo Cohelo...basically any type of book that can capture my attention within the first 30 pages.
I love music and if I had my way I would have a constant soundtrack following me around. I listen to almost any type of music cause I think each genre has its time and place.
