My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Originally from New Jersey in the U.S. (let the jokes begin). As a consequence, I'm fairly sarcastic and tend not to take myself (or others) too seriously. I occasionally over-compensate for my small stature by being slightly loud and macho when provoked (orrr sometimes when unprovoked).

I'm moving to Phnom Penh from Prague (yeah, my life is weird) in October. I'm a social scientist so I spend a lot of quality time explaining research methodology and statistical analysis and why people should care about either one...

Let's see...what else? I love the ocean, I'm inordinately proud of my freckles, I like cheese, popcorn...and cheese popcorn. Learning new things is the best, perhaps beaten only by traveling (especially to off the beaten track type places that I have to get vaccines for). I'm addicted. I've gotten malaria and dysentery and lived to tell the tale (no vaccines for those, not my fault). I also tend to overuse ellipses...(and parentheticals?)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Learning to capitalize the first letters of my sentences (it's a work in progress....)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my hair...people seem to like pulling on a ringlet and making some sort of spring noise--sometimes they do it without asking though, which is kind of weird.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
i've done without most things at various points in my life, but 6 keepers would have to be....

sunshine
salt
my laptop
bread
music
worcestershire sauce
hot showers
laughing

damn. that's 8. well whatever, i'm bad at following directions.
