My Self-Summary
I'm obsessive/compulsive. I used to really focus on trying to
mitigate my OCD with hints of moderation, but now I've resorted to
kicking ass. OkCupid is going to dominate the world. Dr. Neil
Clark Warren, enjoy your TV commercials while you've got 'em.
(And don't spend that eighty million dollars you took out of the
company all in one place.) I work hard and work hard. I don't sleep
much. Education is important to me, and I've spent way too much
money educating myself. If you went to Harvard College or Stanford Business School drop me a line.
What the hell, if you went to high school at IMSA, that's especially cool. I'm one of

I’m really good at
Reducing GDP. Take a perfectly good industry, like the online
dating industry, for example. It's probably worth a solid
half-billion dollars thanks to all those sites that charge
subscription fees. I see this and think, boy, why don't we just
turn this industry upside down and give, oh, $400,000,000 back to
all the single people in America. That's about $4 to every single
person aged 18+.

The first things people usually notice about me
I make faces at people without really knowing that I am making
them. Unfortunately, they usually result in people thinking that I
think they are stupid. Sometimes they're right.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Music: I am a U2
fanatic. I went to something like five shows on this tour: San Jose
(twice, on consecutive nights), Boston, New York, and Hartford. I
know every lyric. Go ahead and try to stump me. The only MP3's on
my computer are U2. See, I'm obsessive/compulsive.
Movies: A Few Good Men. Yes, I know it came out over a decade ago, but I have watched it 204 times. Yes, exactly 204. Yes, I keep count. Yes I am obsessive/compulsive.
Books: I read anything by George F. Will, easily the best writer of our time. His mastery of the language is astounding.
Foods: One word: Cheese. If it has cheese, I'll love it. As a challenge to myself, I've been toying with the idea of giving up cheese for an entire year. Does that seem insane?

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Poker and Running. In the past year
I've picked up these two hobbies and I find myselve thinking about
them when I'm falling asleep, in the shower, etc. What I like about
them both is that I keep endless statistics about my performance
and progress and carefully track how far I've run and how much
money I've made playing poker.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working. But when working means working on OkCupid, it takes on a
whole new flavor. Work is fun, so you could say that on a Typical
Friday Night I'm having fun. That sounds a lot less lame...
