General Information:
I'm in an awesome show choir called Indy Spotlight.

The way to my heart is through a great mixed cd.

On the facial hair scale, I prefer scruffy to bearded.

I don't date anyone younger than myself. Apparently a few of you are taking that as a challenge. Please, don't. It's not cute.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working. I'm a Graphic Designer for a small marketing firm.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Kicking ass and taking names. Seriously.
The first things people usually notice about me

That I'm a female. And short.

Oh, let's see here...

BOOKS: I love to read! I recently finished Wool and I highly suggest it to anyone looking for a good book. Next on my list is Zoo or The Martian.

MOVIES: I enjoy all sorts of films. Some of my favorites are: You've Got Mail, Sister Act, LOTR, Pride & Prejudice, Batman, Serenity, Avengers, Wall-E, Thor, Love Actually, most anything Disney or Pixar, and most musicals.

SHOWS: House of Cards, the Following, Lost, Dexter, HIMYM, American Horror Story, Doctor Who, Firefly, Sherlock, Grey's Anatomy, New Girl, House, Criminal Minds, Are You Afraid of the Dark.

MUSIC: I listen to almost anything. Here are a few examples of what's currently playing in Sam's Epic iTunes Library: Typhoon, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, The Book of Mormon (simply hilarious. If you have a sense of humor, you must listen to it.), Joe Bonamassa, Birdy, Andy D, AWOL, Muse, Of Monsters & Men, The Avett Brothers, Florence + The Machine, The Civil Wars, Iron & Wine, A Fine Frenzy, The Black Keys, Brown Bird, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Sinatra, and some Classic Rock. This changes weekly and sometimes daily.

It's really disappointing to hear so many people say "I love everything except (insert genre here)." More than likely there is one song/artist in that genre that you will like. But how will you know if you won't give it a chance? Try to keep an open mind people.

FOOD: I appreciate anything from burgers to fine dining. I love great food and I love to cook.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music
Hot showers
Rain
Chapstick
My bed
Family/Friends
My cat

I know that's 7 items. I'm a rebel.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to be more awesome.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably relaxing at home watching Netflix and cuddling with Winnie, my cat.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There are certain songs that, no matter my mood, will make me sing/dance (usually in my apartment or car).

Beach Foam by Future Islands
Thrash Unreal by Against Me!
500 Miles by the Proclaimers
Canned Heat by Jamiroquai
Madness by Muse

...you like to smile, you're an intelligent human being, a contributing member of society, and a super awesome person :)

However, you should NOT message me if...you can't find the punctuation keys on the keyboard, say any variation of 'swagger' or 'YOLO', can't form a mostly proper sentence, or if you use 'waz', 'wuz', 'wuts' to substitute 'what's'. It won't kill you to type a few more letters, I promise.
