My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Escritor/periodista...viviendo en Quito.

I love being spontaneous. I'm always happy when I have a good experience.

But some there are some things in my routine that I love. I'm a big fan of running at dusk. I like newspapers (yes, I like print media), strong coffee and lots of sunshine.

It's always hard describing myself in these venues. I don't care for labels much, but I consider myself a critical thinker.Love sharing insights with people. And more importantly I'm more than happy to listen. Multiple friends have told me that I'm a good listener (not to toot my own horn).

Well, I am pretty tall, 6'3". I reckon that's it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books and articles about Latin American media (that's the area of my dissertation.) But I adore the novels of Gabriel García Márquez, Albert Camus, Alejo Carpentier, Henry Miller, Upton Sinclair, Mark Twain, and many more. I love too many movies so I can't pick a favorite. But one that I saw recently and love is Miracle in Milan. I love the films of Luis Buñuel. I like my art to be dreamy and political. As for music, I like a lot of Latin music: cumbia, reggaetón, vallenato, merengue, etc. And for food, well, it's all relative. Around here, I love Mexican food. But when I'm in NYC, I like pizza. I like arepas, but they're hard to find in the U.S.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
literature, cinema, whiskey, music, running shoes, and newspapers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I know it sounds depressing, but I think about where the world is going. But I also like to think about what can be done.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Every Friday is different. You might catch me reading a book or watching an NBA game. But I'm flexible.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i don't like the Grateful Dead.
