Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a recent transplant to Phoenix from Michigan. After graduating
with my second Masters degree from the University of Michigan and
taking a year out of the profession working at Starbucks, I moved
out here to have a fresh start and be closer to my dogs (and of
course my twin sister with whom they live).
After being in Phoenix for 2 months, I found a job in my field as
an architect and planner for a large corporation. I started a few
weeks ago and I am enjoying it so far. I am still working at
Starbucks on nights and weekends for the time being.
I grew up camping and fishing during the summer and going to Cedar
Point as much as possible. I love to read when I get the time,
which isn't that often. I enjoy going out on weekends, either
dancing or just having drinks with friends. I try to live a pretty
casual life but I always have a million projects going on. I am
definitely up for going to new places and having new

of pencil on paper when it comes to drawing. I also sew a lot. My

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just got my first job in the architecture and urban planning
profession. It is great to have a set schedule. Still working a
second job at Starbucks for the time being. We will see how long I
can handle both jobs.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Organizing. Probably a weird thing for me to be good at, but at
least I'm honest.
I would like to think that I'm a good friend. I'm always willing to
drop anything I have going on to help a friend out with anything.
Even if it's hard work like helping someone move or renovate

I tend to talk a lot. I don't really mean to, it just happens. I am
also a twin, so that is pretty noticeable when we are together.

I like to read basically everything except science fiction. I tend
to read historical based books with a bit of romance in them.
I have a short attention span so I don't go to the movies that
often but I love watching movies at home. I like romantic comedies
and drama, any movie with a complex plot and not a lot of gore. I
recently started watching Dr. Who.
I love to try new foods. I really liked african food when I was in
Senegal. I love mexican food and eat it whenever I get a chance.
I'm always willing to try new dishes, especially anything spicy.

Still not sure what I think of living in Phoenix. It is weird
living in a place where I don't have any friends of my own. Just my
sisters church friends. I don't go to church, which makes it bit
weird with them. Definitely need to get involved with some things
of my own.
