My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
(begin fairly cliche' but accurate part of self-summary!)
Hard-working, down to earth, no-BS guy. I'm outgoing, relish in organizing good times and making sure everyone around me is enjoying them too. I treat people the way I want to be treated and then, in turn, give the respect that I receive. In all types of relationships I have, be it friendship, relationship or otherwise, I'm a great person to have around when times are bad and an even better one when times are good.
(end fairly cliche' but accurate part of self-summary!)

Outside of that, I'm huge into sports -- big-time Mets, Giants, and Devils fan. I go to games regularly for all three but not as much as I'd like. That's not to say that I do nothing but watch ESPN all day and BS with my friends about the latest news (while I may do that, there are other things, too!). I'm as active as I can be with a busy schedule, enjoy running outside (about 4x a week give or take -- down 25lbs in the last 4 months, want to lose another 20. If you're the exercising type/want someone to push you, let me know, I'm in!) as long as the weather permits it and snowboarding trips in the winter (extended weekends to Vermont/etc in particular). I've been skydiving, traveled to random places from Orlando to Montreal to Vegas to everywhere in-between, and I'm dying to get out to Europe to just backpack for a few weeks (maybe this summer!). If you know how to work hard and still find time to play hard, you should definitely message me.

TL;DR - I'm normal! I like guy stuff, active stuff and I'm open to try your interests/new things together.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm the youngest Athletic Director in the state of NJ and proud of it - worked hard to get here! I also own the house I currently live in and soon plan on moving out and continuing to rent it. Currently, I'm getting the yard ready for some backyard BBQ's throughout the summer!

Outside of that, personally I'm adding increasing amounts of exercise (cardio 3-4x/week and lifting 1-2x/week) into my schedule.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh, having fun, snowboarding, my job, seeing the big picture, putting my mind to something and doing it.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes -- they're usually green but they do change color.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'm simplifying this section down to a Top 1-2 for each.

Books: Tasting Beer by Randy Mosher and The Junction Boys by Jim Dent

Movies: Rudy. Doesn't matter how many times I see it, during the last five minutes of that movie I manage to get something in my eyes that makes them run. It's not tears. It can't be.

Shows: How awesome is House of Cards? Frank Underwood is the man.

Music: 90's rock. It's one category, best I could do.

Food: I can cook (kind of)! Anything I can do with a crock pot in the cold months or grill in the warm months I do. Favorite ordering out is probably Thai.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Outside of friends and family:

1. Exercise/Activity
2. Fun
3. Goals
4. Alarm clocks. Yes, plural. I'm working on it, I swear.
5. Netflix
6. Craft beer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to better myself, always. Professionally I think I am now in a good place where I can put some more energy elsewhere.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Lately there hasn't been a typical Friday night, however if I had to guess it would be out with some friends for the night or on a small adventure. If I'm in it's because it's either been too rough a day to go out, I have responsibilities in the early morning or I'm catching up on some work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've got four tattoos, all of which are on my upper arms (it's still pretty frowned upon in the education world) so that if I wear polos to work they're still fairly unnoticeable.

That's kind of weak for a private thing though right? Here's a quote (perhaps stolen from a movie, can you name it?) to spice this section up:

"You're sitting there, you're wondering do I have food on my face, am I eating, am I talking too much, are they talking enough, am I interested I'm not really interested, should I play like I'm interested but I'm not that interested but I think she might be interested but do I want to be interested but now she's not interested? So all of the sudden I'm getting, I'm starting to get interested... And when am I supposed to kiss her? Do I have to wait for the door cause then it's awkward, it's like well goodnight. Do you do like that ass-out hug? Where you like, you hug each other like this and your ass sticks out cause you're trying not to get too close or do you just go right in and kiss them on the lips or don't kiss them at all? It's very difficult trying to read the situation."
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–34
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Any of this applies:

- You're a "guy's girl" in any sense of the phrase: you like going to and/or participating in sports and doing things (traveling, etc.) somewhat based around them/brewery trips/etc. For example, if a trip such as one I just booked with friends to Nashville in December to see the Giants take on the Titans, eat amazing BBQ, hit the night life, check out the Jack Daniels distillery and perhaps even give Graceland a shot for a long Friday-Monday weekend sounds like the perfect mini-getaway to you, message me immediately because you're awesome! Those types are strongly encouraged but certainly not required.

- You know what I'm referring to in my "most private thing I'm willing to admit" story.

- I "liked" you back! I mean sure I may message you first but I'd honestly find it impressive if there was a mutual "like" and you messaged me first. It shows some moxie, ladies. Big points to be had there.
