My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Renaissance guy who tends to stay up too late. If I had any midnight oil, I'm sure I'd be burning it. Easy-going, hard-working. Good company. Drawn to nature (biology grad degree), good conversation, humor, wide variety of music, movies that don't insult my intelligence, dessert, games, and secret projects that seem to never come to fruition but then sometimes do. I can and might two-step a little.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in the tech field and exploring interactive education projects. Hanging out with family or friends, or home with parrot and all the stuff I need to work on. Taking notes. After living most of my adult life in Austin and in an unexpected career, I feel like I'm finally getting into a position where I can do some interesting things both at and away from work.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Analogizing. Googling. Editing. Making up stories as I go along. Catching objects I drop before they hit the ground. Making up tunes to whistle. Handling parrots--at least one of them. Asking questions. Speculating. Building sandcastles--at least I like them. Getting along with people.

food: interesting and savory vegetarian stuff, Southern cooking, dessert, chili, pumpkin...But, and this is kind of a disability: no onions. We're opposed to each other.

TV: Parks & Rec, news, The Walking Dead, Bob's Burgers, Breaking Bad. Yes, I enjoy live theater, but also plays performed far away and carried over invisible rays to screens in houses.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
hilarious stuff, dessert, white noise (crickets ok too), music, scheming, bbq sauce
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
things I'm neglecting, jumping spiders, things fictional characters said, economics, persuasion, why there are so many spices and subatomic particles, comedy, why there are so many leaves in my yard when I have no trees
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having a beer(s) with a friend(s) or home staying up late doing whatever I feel like then possibly falling asleep on the couch.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I once charmed a Costa Rican washwoman without realizing it.
