My self-summary
I am intelligent, funny, and creative.

I'm a nerdy guy who loves older music and doesn't care for the bar scene. I don't like sports, watching or playing. I never have and it's quite likely I never will enjoy watching grown men get paid ridiculously large sums of money for playing children's games. I love science fiction and fantasy. I prefer cats to dogs, but pooches are alright too.. I'd usually rather stay in than go out. I like to cook, read and make costumes.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated college several years ago and now I'm using my degree as the Director of Information Technology for a small company. Beyond that, I hang out with my friends when I get the chance, read a lot of books, and watch the occasional movie.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at making others laugh, cooking, reading, empathy, sarcasm, intelligent conversation, political thinking, and laughing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have large, expressive eyes and I'm told that I make others feel welcome and at ease around me. So my eyes and my friendly nature.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Anything by H.P. Lovecraft. The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher (so much better than the TV show). Anything by Neil Gaiman. Discworld books by Terry Pratchett. The Dune series by Frank Herbert. Fight Club and anything else by Chuck Palahniuck. Anything by Neal Stephenson except the Baroque cycle... what a snooze! Jeff Lindsay's Dexter series.

Actually, this would probably be easier: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/5192866

Movies: The Star Wars Trilogy (the Holy Trilogy), Chasing Amy, Clerks, Buckaroo Banzai, Big Trouble in Little China, They Live, The Ring, Serenity, Office Space, Fight Club, Dune, the first Matrix movie, Kevin Smith movies, Quentin Tarrantino movies...

TV shows: I watch a lot of geeky TV. The Venture Bros, Agents of SHIELD, Once Upon a Time, The Walking Dead, Metalocalypse, Supernatural, Arrow, Revolution, Grimm, Misfits. And I'm not ashamed to admit that I enjoy some cartoons like Bob's Burgers, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, Ultimate Spider-Man

Music: Older rock, some newer stuff, musicals

Food: Chinese, Mexican, Italian, American, Food trucks are awesome...

You should message me if
You don't have a kid.

On your list of things you could not live without you don't mention God.

You have huge... tracts of land.

At any point in reading my profile you said "hey, I should message him!"

You're not a conservative/right wing type.
