On the bright side, I just moved to San Diego and I love it! It's always been a dream of mine to live near the beach, so I made it happen. It seems like it's taking longer than instantly to be settled in, but I can already tell that I will be really happy here.

What I’m doing with my life

Just living it-

For fun, I play acoustic guitar, watch European football, help out in the community, look at art, and go to the beach.

To eat, I'm running my own web design business, selling trendy clothes, and flipping copies at a print shop.

I'm driven and work hard for the future, but I'm also relaxed and happy in the moment.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - I'm reading "Atlas Shrugged" and "The Art of Manliness" right now, but it seriously annoys me when I form a mental image of a character, but then details revealed about them later in the book contradict my original idea of what they were like. So, I'd just prefer watch Hulu.

Movies - Life is Beautiful, That Thing You Do, The Matrices, Toy Story. I mostly watch feel-good movies, but I'm also enthralled by special effects.

TV on Hulu - 30 Rock, Arrested Development, The Office

Music (which is one of my favorite things about life) - Weezer, Claude Debussy, Tool, Guster, Jack Johnson, Radiohead, The Lonely Island, Foo Fighters, Flight of the Conchords. Also, I like to write and record my own music.

Food - Pizza buffets, Italian, authentic Mexican tacos

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I used to think a lot about how externally mediated rewards affect intrinsic motivation to participate in volunteerism (that was my thesis topic), but that's kind of boring to me now.

The present. Sometimes the future. Mostly how to be happy and help other people to be happy.
