Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a native Texan. After undergrad, I lived in Chicago, NYC, SoCal
and Miami, in that order, and moved back to TX last Summer 20 years
later. I'd consider living in sunny CA or the big apple again for
the right reasons. I've been blessed with great jobs that allowed
me to travel - Europe (Germany, UK, Italy, Netherlands, Spain),
Belize, Hawaii, PR, and neighboring Canada & Mexico. I'd like
to think I'm very cultured and do love the arts. I'm pretty active
and find interesting things to keep myself busy. I show my Texas
pride w/a great affinity for the Spurs, Cowboys and the Longhorns -
my alma mater. It seems I've put my love life on hold with a busy
career and some extraordinary experiences. I've slowed down
considerably to think about what I really want and I'm ready to
share my life, support, honor & grow in love with that special
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am learning to take more time for myself and the important people
in my life. I pursue activities with meaning and purpose. I've been
traveling to LA & NYC lately, again for work, and all over
Texas to catch up with old friends and family. I'm looking forward
to staying in one place soon and making important life choices to
move in that direction. I've ran 3 marathons (SA, LA, Miami) and
would like to consider a 4th within the year-I'm thinking something
beautifully scenic like Malibu.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Being a good friend and companion.
Attention to detail and getting things done well.
Genuinely caring for others.
Showing my emotions - it's obvious when I'm happy and sad.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My sincerity, warmth and when I say ya'll to non-Texans. I get
mistaken for being a lot younger and sometimes it can be to my
disadvantage in certain situations.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Some chick lit but mainly biographies because I enjoy
learning about one's passion to achieve their dreams no matter what
Movies - Victor Victoria (I regret not seeing the Broadway play
when I first moved to NYC!), House Sitter (love Steve Martin &
Goldie Hawn together), Regarding Henry, Sabrina, all Star Wars
& Indiana Jones movies - ok, any flick with Harrison Ford whom
I've had a crush on since Empire Strikes Back;)
Food - Authentic Mexican, BBQ, Asian fusion, Sushi, home-made
macaroni and cheese!
Shows - Top 3 out of 14 Broadway plays - Miss Saigon, Wicked, and
Music - Country (Luke Bryan, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Jason
Aldean), Coldplay, U2, Latin rock - Maná, Belanova, Camila.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) First and foremost - my faith in God, I enjoy going to church on
Sundays and hearing a good sermon to reflect, be a better person,
and get my week going.
2) My family esp siblings
3) Friends - after living away for so long, my friends, esp those
in NYC, are my family:) I cry with laughter bc we can be so silly
4) Love - including being blessed with romantic love - xoxo
5) Children - I love being the best Aunt ever!
6) Helping others.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
meeting my partner for life:)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Friday nights range from watching a good movie, catching up on new
Dallas episodes, surfing the net or going out with my sis when she
can get a sitter. I don't have the big group of single friends in
SA like I did in previous cities but I'm enjoying reconnecting with
childhood friends & making new ones. I'm spending more time w/
family now and with that comes a handful of nephews - so I've
become familiar with things that are important to them - Minecraft
(the video game & tons of youtube tutorials), Legos (& all
the pieces that end up in every place imaginable), Batman Arkham
Asylum, Disney Infinity, Skylanders, any trendy cool video game
really, lots of baseball practice and games, and as for the one
sweet niece - anything Disney Princess related - esp singing all
the lyrics to Frozen!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can hoola hoop endlessly:)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are a strong man who knows what he wants & follows through
w/ honesty & integrity, very affectionate, responsible yet
adventurous, kind to others, and wants to raise a loving family
with me. Although I don't have children, I'd like to have my own,
foster/adopt or help raise my future husband's kids if he has any.
When we spend time with each other, we can simply be content in
each other's presence because everything just feels right. I'm not
interested in dating a lot of men or casually dating so please only
write if you believe there is a match that could lead to something
more;) Best wishes in finding love.
