I ran across this quote today and I kind of like it. "You can't have a relationship without any fights, but you can make your relationship worth fighting for."

Looking for that special man who is willing to fight with me, not against me, to keep our relationship strong. (And if he likes make-up sex, that's a bonus!)

I am almost an empty nester and I see this as the perfect time to re-examine my life and make choices. Choices that lead to an intentional life. Circumstances made me live a reactional life for several years. I want to make choices that position me to have the life I dream of, and to have it soon.

personality wise it would be intelligence, sassiness and self confidence.

I love to read and will read almost anything with words, from the back of a cereal box at the breakfast table to a shampoo bottle in the shower. I read a lot of legal, medical and scientific stuff at work. So at the moment I do prefer to keep it light when I am reading for pleasure. If I pick up a not so light, well written book though I do really get sucked in.

Movies, I tend to prefer independent and foreign films. I am a sucker for good cinematography. I can also enjoy an intelligent comedy. And I am a chick, so of course chick flicks have a spot in the rotation. I don't mind watching those alone though.

I don't watch a lot of TV. I do like Dexter, Mad Men, White Collar and The Good Wife. Right now I am totally hooked on Homeland. And I am happy to report that my unexplainable addiction to Storage Wars has passed.

Music, I love going to listen to local bands live. Good strong vocals really appeal to me. I like blues, bluegrass, some jazz, irish and alt rock. Not a fan of country, unless it is the really old stuff.

Food, I love to try foods from different cultures but I am a little squeamish about meats. Sometimes you just have to not tell me what I am eating until I am done :)

Well I recently learned that sometimes life isn't fair and you are forced to live without what you had always put on the top of your "could never live without list". It has made me rethink a lot of things about how I live my life. I think these are the 6 things I want to always be a part of my life:

2. kindness/tolerance
3. hope
4. peace
5. love
6. a desire to learn/explore

I am not sure I know what typical is. I am a big fan of variety.

Yes, I am a woman. Yes, women have boobs. Yes, I have boobs. Yes, mine happen to be huge. Yes, that can make average things seem "small" in comparison. So don't claim to be "large" unless you're really "mammoth". And if you're "mammoth" keep on moving 'cause my mouth is one of those things that is kind of "small" in comparison. And well, you know....

And yes, I have been awake a little too long today. And yes, I am a little slap happy. And no, I would probably not ever say this out loud. But yes, I would probably think it.
