I love living life expressively and passionately rather than merely existing and taking up space.

I live by the linear park and love riding to the beach when the weather is good. I go to the pool often and enjoy hiking and camping.

I enjoy connecting intellectually and emotionally with potential partners and friends. This means that we need to be able to enjoy each other's company and be able to have a a decent conversation before anything else develops! You never know where it might end up!

I am friendly, creative, and fun. Life is an adventure...its supposed to be exciting so lets go out and enjoy it!

I'm a full time student at Flinders Uni. I am completing my BA next semester and starting my Honours in Sociology Theory in the second semester. I'm looking forward to it!

I'm involved in various of the creative arts:
I'm having a lot of fun with my creative photography and I was recently asked whether I might like to exhibit some photos I took on my mobile phone...so much for all my DSLR work!

I'm learning to play with oil paints under the guidance of a talented friend whose son is my first and hopefully not last piano student.

I am connected with various musical and choral (sometimes they overlap...) groups around town. I'm also playing in community symphony orchestra and a string quartet as well as a kind of folk rock group. I particularly enjoy unaccompanied vocal singing.

I was the zombie leader in the Hilltop Hoods' dvd release: Parade of the Dead. Check it out if you are in the mood for a laugh and the music doesn't irritate you too much :). I was recently a troglodyte extra in a movie about cavemen. We'll see how that turns out! It's fun pretending to be an actor!

I'm also preparing a children's picture book for presentation to publishers at the moment which is pretty exciting as I have yet to have anything published apart form the odd piece of poetry AGES ago...

I'm very tall. I smile a lot :) I have facial hair (this is negotiable...my height isn't. Sorry)

There are far too many to list but try this for starters:

My favourite book of all time is Lewis Carrol's Alice in Wonderland, closely followed by The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by DNA. Both have served as inspiration and moral guides for me through my life. The existentialists are fun too: Dostoyevsky, Kafka, Borges etc, throw in some absurdism and magical realism and I'll be happy. Jeanette Winterson and Ursula Le Guin are also right up there.

Movies: I love the movies. I go to the palace/nova complex often and really enjoy the foreign and arthouse pics tho i am not averse to mainstream hollywood pics so long as the pro US propaganda isnt too in my face. Fav directors include Terry Gilliam, Peter Greenaway, Hal Hartley and Cronenburg. Anything written by Charlie Kaufman (Being John Malkovitch, Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind etc) is gold! A little part of me wants to see a collaboration between Baz Lurman and Michael Bay...Explosions with Sequins...YEAH!

Music: I am a classically trained muso so I tend to like the classical field from Mediaeval to Contemporary, esp the Symphonic and big Choral Stuff. Wagner pisses me off tho! I also used to be a dj and I enjoy pop, rock and dance so long as its not too light and fluffy. I particularly enjoy Trance, Drum n Bass, and Electronica.

Food: I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen. I am adventurous and will try almost anything. I am very bad at following recipes. Which is a good thing!

1) The freedom to choose who I want to be and what I want to do
2) Friends who are honest, compassionate, intelligent and challenging
3) Freshly ground coffee
4) Art (music/movies/theatre/dance/literature... in fact all expressions of creativity)
5) A sense of humour
6) The ability to forgive (self and others)

I'm a stand up philosopher...give me all the big questions and I'll have a discussion with you about them.
Bad Puns?

There's no typical Friday night but I could be doing one of several things: hanging at the Wheatsheaf Hotel with mates playing pool, having dinner with friends, seeing whats on at Palace/Nova, watching a dvd with a friend with the red vino flowing...and sadly sometimes: working on my assignments (it happens).

This site has worked for me in the past! I had a long term (4yr) relationship with someone who found me on here as well as making some excellent friends and interesting connections after the relationship ended.
I like the colour purple.
