…everyone’s a world traveler and you’re probably reading this on a Swiss mountain top.
…some people post pictures taken during the Reagan administration – the loafers with no socks should have tipped me off!
…there’s a positive correlation between the words, “No drama, please,” and the amount of drama to expect.
…that “confident” can be a euphemism for “not confident at all”.
I’ve learned that there is nothing more appealing to me than someone who can just be himself both online and off. If you think you’re awesome and think other people are pretty awesome too, than you’re my kind of guy. It takes a special kind of person to not feel the need to better (or worse) than anyone else and who can just be happy in his own skin.
Things I’ve learned about myself:
I’m a happy, optimistic person (I’m still here after all I’ve learned!). I enjoy doing anything creative. I like team sports and being outdoors, but I’ll only go on a run if I’m chasing something - like my dog or the ice cream man. I have a live and let live attitude. I want to be a better person today than I was yesterday. The little things make me happy – like when someone opens a door for me. It’s hard to embarrass me. I think weird is good and authentic is the best. I’m fascinated by people and wonder of life. I get things done, but sometimes stop just to watch the clouds roll by. I’m usually on-time, but realize on occasion, *&^% happens. Sometimes I’m concerned, but I’m usually not worried. I believe that at the end of the day what matters most are the people I love.
