My self-summary
My daily life pretty much revolves around practicing music, drinking tea, sipping whisky, walking around the city, reading history books, watching classic movies and watering my plants.

I think physical chemistry is very important. Maybe some people can be friends and see the chemistry kick in later, but that doesn't work for me.

I also think that how you choose to spend your daily life is much more important and interesting than what are supposed to be big events like holidays & outings.

And finally I think I place a really high importance on the idea of equality. I'm not talking about rights, but really the idea that there is equal strength of character and drive.
What I’m doing with my life
- I work for an international organization during the day.
- I sing opera - I'm a baritone.
- I play metal/blues-rock guitar the rest of the time.
I’m really good at
- Not missing Paris but not that good at not missing my sisters and nephew and nieces.
- Listening.
The first things people usually notice about me
I think they feel I'm shy or serious but then they start to understand my sense of humor... or not. You can't please everybody.

Ah and I'm 1m74 tall so that's in fact more than 5'8" but not 5'9". I recently discovered there is quite a gap between 5'8" and 5'9". Mysteries of the Imperial system.
The six things I could never do without
Here are objects/foods I like/use all the time: guitars, boots, tomatoes, my glasses, contact lenses for the ocean and scuba and on stage, jeans, single malt whisky, opera scores.

I mention whisky but I do not like to be drunk and I don't enjoy the company of people who are on the verge of passing out from intoxication. I do not want to hang out with alcoholics and drug addicts.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm not planning complicated things and not asking you to change the world - especially not mine.

I'm rather suspicious of people who don't like children. I think that most children are much wittier and more entertaining than most adults.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a sucker for some of those things: a big smile, large teeth, bangs, pale skin, high cheek bones, freckles, un-skinny thighs, some accents, a mix of 1930s, 60s & 70s fashion and preppy looks...
You should message me if
- You think of yourself as a woman rather than as a girl. I think by that I mean someone responsible and who has class.

- You look like your pictures and have pictures who look like you.

- You are ready to meet in person sooner than later. Really : endless emailing with a stranger is like drinking soup with chop sticks. That goes for afterwards, let's get to know each other in person and not keep an email blog together.
