I am in your bakeries, baking your, and bread.

My Self-Summary

It's probably about time I edited this thing since it's been a while.

I'm squishybella's girlfriend. I bake bread for a living and play WoW, Valkyria Chronicles and Peggle when I want to relax. I have a couple of tattoos, my hair desperately needs a cut, and I haven't willingly seen sunlight (aside from driving home from work - I do LEAVE the house) in a while. I've got a disapproving black cat and a bouncy joyful "OOH SOMETHING'S MOVING IMMA POUNCE WITH MY CLAWS OUT" ragdoll kitten, and two fish who are all that are left of the several we used to have.

What I’m doing with my life

Working fulltime at the bakery to be able to afford all my and squishybella's geek toys and shiney pretty things. Being a healer in WoW, because I'm liek so awsum and all.

I’m really good at

Tripping over nothing, stubbing my toes on the corners of things, smacking my head on things...

The first things people usually notice about me

My red glasses, or maybe the fact that I'm wandering the streets in a long overcoat, white pants and a white polo shirt (if it's the middle of the night). If I'm in my car, probably the Horde symbol on the back.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I usually pick up books that have an interesting cover and skim the back. If I like what I read, I read a couple of pages. Most of them disappoint me long before I get to open it :( lately i've been reading more nonfiction things; books about organised crime and undercover cops and the history of paint colours.

Movies: I really don't know. If I like something, I like it :/ I really don't like chick flicks, and I'm too much of a wuss to sit through horror films.

Music: Same as with movies; if I like something, I like it. I really don't care for country or R&B or most of what gets played on the top 40. I do like 80s metal and all of Linkin Park's Meteora album. squishybella says my music taste sucks, and she's probably right.

Food: I love my slow cooker. Beef in red wine sauce tastes fucking amazing after 8 hours slowly simmering away, and so does bolognese sauce. I also like cooking creamy herb and garlic potato bake with bacon, and cheesy pasta bake. As far as takeaway food goes, I love the classic Rippa sub at Red Rooster... the garlic sauce is so nice! And my local fish and chip shop does really nice potato cakes :D

The six things I could never do without

squishybella, the ability to read and write, craptacular junk food, WoW, the kitties, and my putie.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Why I would be so awesome as the Everything Police. I would haul away anyone whose actions caused me to facepalm.

On a typical Friday night I am

Kicking back watching a movie on Bluray and congratulating myself on getting through the week without burning myself.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Earthly Delights by Kerry Greenwood is what got me into both the goth scene and taking up a baking apprenticeship (which I've completed). And re-reading it makes me laugh... because both things are hideously misrepresented in the book; no baker would begin the ENTIRE production at 4am (I start at midnight, and most bakers start between 1-2am), and her character seems to have her products go straight from the mixer to the oven without waiting to let them rise. So that's not really an overly private thing... more of an obscure fact.

Some people say my sarky outlook on life is hilarious, but most people seem to view it as some kind of black pit of despair (ooh, how terribly angsty) that must be avoided at all costs. It's up to you.

I have msn and gtalk and AIM, if email isn't your thing. It's not really mine, either.
