As I put together this profile, I have learned that I give the thumbs up sign in the majority of photos I'm in. Interpret that as you will.
Now to the facts: my name is Sarah. I'm 25 years old and very happy with my life. Coming to VT is the best move I've ever made and I have no intentions of leaving. I would say that I have my life together: good job, good friends, car, apartment, hobbies etc... and I'm really looking for someone in a similar boat.
My passions are working with kids, snowboarding, and reading.
Life should be a constant progression of positive improvement.
I can spend hours people watching.
Love exploring new places and learning new things.
I am very ambitious in that I want to make a positive long-lasting impact on this community.
Outside of work I am a very laid back person. I am super low maintenance. My idea of a good time ranges from nerf wars with all of my friends taking up 2 floors of my building to cuddling up and watching a movie. If it's with good people in a positive environment, I'm all about it.
I have an amazing group of friends and at this point I am looking for someone to be more than a friend.

I work with underserved kids in the Old North End of Burlington where I run and oversee programs and hang out with kids ages 9-19. I can honestly say I enjoy my job and look forward to going to work (almost) everyday

I'm also in grad school working on my M.Ed with a concentration in School Leadership.

My facial expressions give away everything I'm thinking. They probably also notice that I have a very hard time sitting still.

Initially, people think I am shy, but eventually they notice that i am a goofball who loves to smile and laugh, but also that I get serious when the situation calls for it.

Books: I was an English major in college so I could talk forever about books, but to keep it short, two of my favorite authors right now are Barbara Kingsolver and Tom Robbins.
I also read the NY Times everyday and have become a bit of a Reddit addict.

Movies: Just recently, Black Swan blew my mind and Bridesmaids made me laugh so hard my abs hurt. I like all movie genres other than horror.

Shows: Dexter, Breaking Bad, Weeds, and guiltily, house hunter/home improvement shows.

Music: My current most listened to Spotify stations are based on Grouplove and Mumford and Sons. Give me a good band playing outside somewhere beautiful and I'm a happy camper. I'm always open to checking out new music, but odds are if it's on 95 triple x, I'm not that into it.

Food: I love trying and cooking new food.

Whether or not I'm living up to my own expectations, where my life is going, the state of the world, what that person in the car next to me is thinking, when it's going to snow next... basically everything

option A: curled up on the couch with some candles lit and a yummy microbrew watching a movie

option B: at a party or downtown with a bunch of friends

I've spent the last year making some positive changes in my life. I'm ready for new things, but I'm also a work in progress!
