Hi! I recently moved back to Ohio from Albuquerque, NM. I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing with my puppy-dog, spending time with friends, & relaxing. Two of my recent goals are to learn how to do maintenance on my car and to have a garden and not kill everything in it.
I try to be positive and see the "silver-lining". Negative energy sucks. Literally.

When I was growing up my mom wanted me to be "well-rounded" so she put me in all sorts of different activities: art classes, dance, gymnastics, etc. The result: I'm mediocre at a bunch of stuff and awesome at not a lot.

My sparkling personality... and biting midwest sarcasm.

Some people think I look like Alyson Hannigan (Willow from Buffy).
I try to be fairly humble. People notice that.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Harry Potter series, anything by Jane Austen, midwifery books, the Earth's Children series by Jean M Auel. Misconceptions by Naomi Wolf changed my life.
Movies: the A&E/BBC Pride & Prejudice (starring Colin Firth), Amelie, the Harry Potters, the Kill Bills, etc.
TV shows: Daily Show, Colbert Report, American Gladiators (motivates me to work out), Battlestar Galactica, the Office
Music: Le Tigre is my ultimate favorite. I also love Angels & Airwaves Linkin Park& the Dixie Chicks

The six things I could never do without

my pets, my Prius (it gets me aboot), flip-flops, massages

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Gas mileage, school, tidying my purse, stuff I have to do, school, how douchy George Bush is, how funny the word douche is. Also, asshat.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with friends going to the movies or something. Pondering the purpose of life.

I was born with an outtie belly-button that has since become an innie. Also, I'm a vegetarian.
