Your Notes
Edit your notesI am creative, intelligent, and balanced.
My Self-Summary
I consider myself to be creative. I love to build/make things. I have modified (to some degree) over half of the electronics I own and I am a manufacturer warranty's worst enemy. I am intrigued by how things work and since I was a kid, I have taken everything apart and (usually) got it back together again.
I value my independence. I currently work from home and make my own schedule. I am admittedly a computer geek (but don't think Revenge of the Nerds). Computers evolve fast, so there's always something new, which I find intriguing.
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Most of the books I read are computer books. The industry evolves quickly and I read a lot to stay on top of it. Occasionally I get time to read Chuck Palahniuk or a nonfiction about something else. The last book I read (not computer related) was In Defense of Food. Good insight into how the western diet arrived at its current state.
I tend to lean towards indie rock. Other stuff is cool too (swing, big band). I play a few instruments.
Food is my career turned hobby. I cook almost everyday. I love to cook. Spicy, savory, sweet...it doesn't matter. There is a very unique gratification that comes from taking raw ingredients and making something that looks and tastes good. Good food and drink are important.
The six things I could never do without
Robots. Sweet, lovable robots.
Music. Both playing and listening.
The Internet. I spend a lot of time looking up random curiosities.
Thinks to make or fix. A perfect world where we had everything we need and it all worked all the time would be close to a personal hell.
The Sun. That thing is awesome.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time trying to figure out how various things work. I have a childlike curiosity that I never want to go away.
