I prefer some order to my life - with a fair amount of spotenaiety thrown in to spice things up a bit. I'm analytical, decisive and opinionated...you won't have to wonder what I'm thinking, I'll tell it like it is. I'm independent and driven - one of my best friends says that I give everything 110%. I thrive on sarcasm and witty banter, so bring it on.

I'm a fan of skipping out of work early to catch an afternoon Giants game, eating apple pie with melted cheddar cheese for breakfast (don't knock it 'til you try it) and sometimes I go topless (the car, not me...get your mind out of the gutter!). I haven't met a cheese I didn't like and consider every dog a 'puppy', regardless of age. I find relaxation when I'm in the kitchen cooking or getting my hands dirty in the garden.

I'm terribly lucky to have a career that I love! That, paired with the fact that I thoroughly enjoy spending time and having fun with my colleagues makes every day an adventure. That being said, I'm definitely a "work to live" vs. "live to work" kinda girl!

...and, I'm a master procrastinator!

I may come off a bit guarded in the beginning, but once you get to know me, you'll find I'm pretty passionate about the things that are most important to me. This may be where the 110% I noted above comes into play.

Let's start with my favorite topic...food! I'm borderline foodie and will try (both eating and cooking) almost anything, although a few of my favorites are Indian, French and Italian. Oh...and Mexican...I almost forgot! I also have what some may consider an excessive collection of cookbooks.

Music...I have somewhat eclectic (or confused) preferences in music. I enjoy rock, pop, country, R&B and have recently taken a liking to jazz.

Books - I already told you about my cookbook obsession. I love flipping through them for new ideas. I also occasionally enjoy a good book that I can lose myself in. I'm currently in the middle of "Beautiful Ruins"...a bit slow to start, but anything that brings back memories of Cinque Terre gets a thumbs up from me.

As far as movies and shows, I'm open to most anything; but, I am religious about catching the latest episodes of Top Chef and Project Runway!
