Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Garden state native, currently live in Brooklyn. Kind of
sciencey-minded nerd-in-chic-clothing type who appreciates dry
rieslings and dry humor. I spent a couple of years living in
California and really appreciate the laid-back attitude and
fondness for the outdoors there - it's a mindset that has helped to
offset the crazystressed attitude that is prevalent in NYC. I'm
lucky to have crossed off a few major milestones (running a
marathon, buying a coop) in the past couple of years and am hoping
to get more into the arts (performing and visual) in 2015.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in education during the week (not a teacher anymore but do
behind-the-scenes work to help teachers and kids), enjoying the
city and trying to take advantage of all of the great opportunities
that living here offers us. Running and doing other active stuff in
my spare time, perusing DIY home improvement projects, figuring out
how to use my bio background and love of rakija (look it up) to one
day open a distillery.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh, trivia (especially science or pop culture
topics), karaoke, cooking and baking, remembering/planning
celebrations for birthdays and other events, being directionally
unchallenged (I'm a good map reader and almost never am disoriented

I've had some pretty offbeat Halloween costumes over the years, the
weirdest of which was going as a Pan Am Boeing 747 in kindergarten.
It had cardboard wings and soda bottle jet engines stapled to the
arms of my turtleneck . Trick-or-treating was really uncomfortable
