Reading, biking, staying active, crosswords, wine, great beer and
cooking. I love Baltimore sports teams as I was born and raised
there. Not expecting too much from this site but i figured it
couldn't hurt to check out something new. I try not to take myself
or life too seriously and occasionally laugh at those who do.
What I’m doing with my life
I moved to DC from Boston for a job in international affairs. I
love what I do but am already planning my Brazilian retirement.
I’m really good at
Finding and enjoying the little things in life, cooking fish tacos
and injecting humor into awkward situations.
The first things people usually notice about me
A sideways smile and my snarky sense of humor?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I really enjoy non-fiction. Anything related to sociology,
anthropology or pop-culture. I started to appreciate a little
science fiction as well. Authors I am currently reading are
Klosterman, Farmer, Dick and Kesey.
I don't watch that much TV but live for music. Anything from
Mumford and Sons to James Brown to Regina Spektor to Binary Star to
well, anything. Looking forward to checking out some DC
I love all kinds of food, especially when made by/with friends.
Occasionally I turn Food Network shows into drinking games.
The six things I could never do without
NYT crosswords, Jeopardy, good books, great beer, even better
people and Spotify.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my place in the world and what that really means.
On a typical Friday night I am
making power moves.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is something you'll have to ask about. I'm pretty much an open
book, so fire away.
You should message me if
you're interested in an intellectually stimulating, yet snarky
conversation most likely peppered with random movie quotes and
terrible celebrity impersonations.
Big eyes and pretty smiles are always a plus.
