My self-summary Propose an edit
I like to learn new things. I think too much. I really value a
sense of humor and someone with a big brain.
I have a strange sense of humor, that sometimes gets me in trouble
with the easily offended.
Sometimes I can be a button-pusher, but with that said, I do try to
refrain from such behavior.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I write features for a newspaper. I need a new job. This one is a
bit worn. Especially since I recently declined a promotion...if you
worked here you'ld understand. I think it was more of a glorified
Title. But I'm bossy anyway so I don't need a title to tell people
what I think. haha. I want to start traveling and I'm disappointed
that I haven't done this yet.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
writing, procrastinating, and playing bagpipes and coming-up with ideas,
listening to my friends and I can cook. :P
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
I don't smile a whole lot, but I'm happy on the inside. (or
boobies)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
lot's of stuff celtic, the mahones, flogging molly, modest
mouse, elliot smith, outkast, rufus wainwright, badly drawn boy,
coldplay, weezer, pixies, sinead o'connor, the postal service, jack
johnson, robert randolph and the family band, (the newly
discovered) junior boys, aimee mann, and '70's funk
Also, I've been listening to alot of cool mash-up.
(and not sure if I should admit this, but in my early 20's I had a
huge fixation on lenny kravitz. the fascination for this performer
is presently lying dormant somewhere in the back recesses of my
mind. i'm not sure if those feelings will ever be resurrected but
it is quite possible.)
BOOKS: I need to read more. I suck. I read too much news on the
internets. But most people don't count reading magazines or news
articles as reading for some reason. I'm a digg junkie. And am also
obsessed with this election primary right now.
But I will list "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy."
MOVIES: eddie
izzard (dressed to kill),little miss sunshine, about a boy, 28
days later, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, shaun of the dead,
napoleon dynamite, so I married an axe murderer, kill bill vol.
1&2, boondock saints, shanghai noon, uhhhhh....brain dead at
this moment...
I rent ALOT, because I don't have t.v. (or pay for cable/satellite
whatever,) but I really like Ricky Gervais, in both The office and
Extras.
And now I'm addicted to Lost. (of course I'm behind because I'm
renting it.)
FOOD:I've been on this Earl Grey kick as a result of trying to
drink less coffee. And the usual Thai, Mexican, Japanese (Sushi), I
like spicy food even if it makes me cry.
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
music, humor, love, traveling, art, family
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
how to get from point A to point B...mmm...yah Where to go
next.
How can I make a lot of money and never work again so I can spend
my time taking art classes and yoga.
and sometimes I wonder if it is actually possible to make a meat
whistle.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
most likely staying home and watching movies, but sometimes out to
dinner, or to a friends or to something artsy fartsy, like a
gallery showing, which I dig. (I seem to know alot of artists,
lately.)
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
I once put itching powder in my roommate's bra and let her blame it
on my boyfriend.
You should message me if Propose an edit
if the mood strikes you, and you have a sense of humor or if you
have a random question...I'm up for randomness.
