Although I no longer look the part on weekdays, I am a goth/metalhead and I unfortunately had to abandon the waist-length hair as part of my development into a respectable member of society (on the outside anyway). That's not to say I won't return to those ways in the future, hopefully when I'm rich enough not to give a shit. I would put pictures of it up, but it wouldn't be very representative of me at the moment.
I'm not tied to my mother's apron strings, I'm an independent chap. I cook, I clean, I do my own laundry and my own ironing, I earn my own money and I own my own flat. I hold no strict political allegiances, but I will usually take a devil's advocate position for the sake of a good debate/argument. If you enjoy mental sparring then you've come to the right person, I may often agree with you but that won't stop me challenging your deeply held beliefs for kicks (not in a mean or unintelligent way).
I'm a big geek for many things. I enjoy scientific discoveries and the wonders they open up for us. I'm an ex-archaeology and ancient history student, so I will talk incessantly about ancient greek military history if prompted. Books and comics get my brain hard, I'm currently trying to put together a library in my spare room. I've also partaken in cosplaying as you can see from my photos. So far I've done GLaDos and Wheatley from Portal, Price and Ghost from Modern Warfare, Pyramid Head from Silent Hill and World War Z, and I'm currently working on an Ezio Auditore from Assassin's Creed II costume.
While I'm not on the lookout for any particular physical attributes, I do prefer people who are literary minded and don't see intelligence as something to be embarrassed about, while also having a dark sense of humour and a filthy mind much like my own. I tend to find myself drawn to the mysterious, the oddities, the eccentric, the misfits and the profane.
That all being said, long red hair is a definite plus.
