I’m nerdy in that non-Big-Bang-Theory way, I like calling chicks “dude” and I think Call of Duty is kind of gay. You will usually catch me in tight jeans or no pants at all. I have B.S. in Art that I have mostly wasted other than my photography hobby. I like teaching people, sharing ideas and trading my tastes the things I enjoy—I sincerely hope you do too.
I’ve been primarily jamming to flavors of indie rock like math rock, post-rock, sadcore, and whatever else is interesting—and I will totally melt for some quality female pipes. I watch dramas, thrillers, documentaries and the occasional action film. Louis CK and Anthony Jeselnik top my list as favorite comedians; my humor is also dark and dry, but I deliver (bad) puns more than they do :P.
Best song you’ve never heard: Tabar – Gimme a Reason. It’s a sweet little indie pop rock song with a female vocalist and mathy guitar work from a band that died after a three-song EP. Give it a go. If you like it, let’s talk music.
Science and psychology fascinate me. I habitually—and often recursively—ask the whys and hows to everything. If you don’t love Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye get out! (Just kidding, you can stay). I don’t believe in the supernatural and I guess you could say I’m proud to call myself an atheist (but not in the fedora-wearing, mouth-foaming elitist kind of way). If you’ve not known many people of that variety, I’m cool talking about it (I noticed this is a rarity here in the ‘South’).
I keep my life pretty simple, have good perspective and can laugh at anything. Behind closed doors I’m goofy as fuck, quixotic and turbo cuddly—but keep it hush because I have a total hard-as-nails rep to maintain.
Myers-Briggs tests label me as INTJ.
Shut up and jam.
