Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love sunshine and the idea of driving down long windy roads like
I tell people I'm from New York, but before living there I moved
around many countries as a kid. Never really felt at home anywhere
until SF. Before moving here I attended a large college in a cold
Midwestern state and also studied abroad in/visited Europe and Asia
over the years. I never found the time to learn how to drive,
though it's always something that's on the to-do list, if only to
enjoy driving down the coast. :-)
People who know me well say I'm adaptable and am always striving to
evolve. I think in terms of the growth mindset and am unreasonable
about things when they truly matter. Otherwise I'm a go with the
flow, chill type of person.
Talking to people about their aspirations and goals is fascinating.
Everyone has a responsibility to leave the world better than they
found it in some (small or big) way, and it is an individual
responsibility to figure out how to make that contribution. I moved
to California to figure out what that is and work on it.

things with your own bare hands-on the spot, properly.”

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in the tech industry. If you care to know more, I would be
glad to tell you all about it in person. If you DON'T care to know
more, I'm more than happy to leave it at that. The choice is
I also collaborate on lots of techie side projects with friends,
and travel for work and conferences.
My secret dream is to become a champion boxer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being on time, nice saves, and I always win Olympic Gold for
overthinking any given situation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Rainer Maria Rilke, Douglas Coupland, Dune by Frank Herbert, Cloud
Atlas by David Mitchell. The Pale King by David Foster Wallace. I
read lots of psychology, and business books.
Mr. Robot, Homeland, Mad Men, House of Cards, The Mentalist,
Seinfeld, and Workaholics.
Collateral, American Beauty, Matchstick Men, Minority Report,
Insomnia, The Italian Job, My Blueberry Nights, The Pursuit of

I like to cook but hate doing it alone.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family & friends, California sunsets, memories of good times, a
moleskine notebook, macadamia nuts, and philz coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How problems that seemed hard 100 years ago and plain impossible
200 years ago have become trivial to solve today using modern
knowledge and tools. What can we solve in the next 100 years?
Particular interesting ones are climate change, cheap zero emission
energy, excess heavy metals in the biosphere, and rapid decrease in
wildlife populations. Given enough ingenuity and the right science
I think all are solvable without imposing undue sacrifices on our
capitalistic way of life.
Another more business related problem I think about a lot is how to
make it easier to unlock people's creativity and let them monetize
it in some way. There's so much that can be done there that hasn't
yet. If you have any ideas feel free to message me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I never had a driver's license. Ever. Taking the permit test this
month so wish me luck.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I'm an ENTJ / ENTP with a really strong NT. That means if you love
talking about zany ideas or something cool you've learned about
recently then we'll get along great.
I've also rediscovered my love of the outdoors, so definitely get
in touch you're into hiking, camping, or just plain adventuring.
Also, I spent most of my life living in big and dense cities and so
think those are cool to visit too.
Finally, I'm extremely ambitious with regard to my life plan and
have some strong (positive) opinions about the future. Past
experience has taught me that a good match is someone who is
equally ambitious, confident in themselves, and bases their
thinking around solutions rather than problems.
Bonus points if you're an Apple fan or an iOS / Mac software
